2014 Ghana Golf Awards nominees to be out by Dec 24

The Ghana Golf Association has revealed that the list of nominees for this year’s Ghana Golf Awards will be released on December 24th.

The full list of award nominees will be completed once the various golf clubs submit the names of the top golfers, according to the Vice President of the Ghana Golf Association Mike Aggrey.

“A lot of you are anxious to find out who the award winners are but I am afraid to say that it’s something that we continue to keep on the wraps until the day. I can confirm that as we speak we have not completed the process yet. As it is, it is possible that we can only get the final results by Wednesday of next week,” Mr. Aggrey said at a press briefing at the Media Centre of the Accra Sports Stadium on Thursday afternoon.

The second edition of the Ghana Golf Awards, which will come off at the Events Haven at the Trade Fair Site in Accra on December 27th, is being organized by Primeval Media to reward the highest performing golfers from the various golf clubs in the country in the year under review.
