Yeboah captains Tema Country Golf Club

Tema, Dec. 24, GNA - William Yeboah has been elected unopposed as the Captain of Tema Country Golf Club to steer the affairs of the club for a two-year term .

In an election held at Tema on Saturday, to elect new executive members of the club, all the executive members were elected unopposed. They were Kwaku Okyere, Vice Captain, Richmond Agbenu, Secretary, Mr K.A. Ohemeng, Treasurer, Mr. John Peprah, Competition Secretary and Dr. Paul Owusu-Baah, House Member.

In the Ladies section, all were also elected unopposed. They were Florence Etwi-Barimah, Lady Captain, Fumke Mmajeekodunmi, Vice Lady Captain, Esi Cobbina, Secretary, Esther Antwi, Treasurer and Grace Afriyie, Handicap Secretary. In a pre-election competition, Alex Fiagomey came first by returning a net score of 66.

Kweku Okyere came second with 66 net, losing on count-back to the winner, while E.K. Appiah took the third position with a net score of 71.

The only one prize for the Ladies category was won by Florence Etwi-Barimah , with a net score of 70, 24 Dec. 06
