Peugeot Golf finals at Tema

Accra, June 12, GNA- The finals of this year's Peugeot Challenge Golf Championship will be played at the Tema Country Golf Course on Sunday, July 2.

About 120 amateur golfers are expected to participate in the one-day event, which is being sponsored by Prestige Motor Company Limited.

Mr Francis Twum, Administrative Manager of the company, who announced this in Accra on Monday, said 40 golfers would be selected from the Western and Ashanti Regional qualifying competitions, which would be played at the Takoradi Golf Course on Sunday, June 18. He said another 40 would also be selected from the Eastern and 40 again from the Greater Accra qualifying series, which would be played at the Kumasi and Tafo Golf Courses respectively to select the final 120 players for the finals.

The winners in the Men and the Ladies finals will represent Ghana in the World Peugeot Golf Finals scheduled for France later in the year.
