McCaulley, Esi win Tema Golf Medals

Tema, Jan. 25, GNA-- Phil McCaulley and Esi Cobbina on Saturday became the proud winners of the January Monthly Medal competition of the Tema Country Golf Club played at Tema.

McCaulley returned 65 net while Esi had 67 net beating Adelaide Owusu-Adjapong on count-back to win the Men's and the Ladies events respectively.

Edwin Gbesemate came second with 68 net while William Yeboah placed third with 69 net.

The one-day 18-Hole Stableford competition which attracted about 50 participants, was sponsored by the Tema Golf Club. Mr Alex Yayra Fiagomey, Captain of the club who briefed the GNA Sports urged the members to work hard to improve upon their performances in the competitions ahead.

He was assisted by Mr Felix Owusu-Adjapong, former captain of the club to present prizes to the winners.
