Henaku wins Tema Medal golf

Tema, July 21, GNA--Eric Henaku returned 72 net to win the Tema Country Golf Club July Monthly Medal championship played at Tema on Saturday.
P.K. Amenyo took the second position with 74 net, Nii Ankrah was third with 76 net while C.T. Squire came fourth with 79 net. Grace Komladzei won the Ladies event with 68 net, Elizabeth Essel-Koomson placed second with 77 net while Vaslentina Manteaw came third with 80 net.
L. Macaulley came first in the Visitors category with 66 net, Mary Asafu-Adjaye was second with 71 net, while Gyimah Kwakye took the third position with 73 net .
The one-day 18-hole stableford competition opened to amateur golfers of Tema, Celebrity, Achimota and Bok Nam Kim, was sponsored by TV3 Network.
Mr Samuel Boakye, Financial Controller of TV3 Network said the company sponsored the competition as part of its corporate responsibility of contributing to sports development and promotion. About 100 golfers took part in the competition.
