Golfers gear up for Tema Medal

Accra, July 14, GNA--More than 120 golfers from four golf clubs in the Greater Accra Region would assemble at the Tema Country Golf Course on Saturday, July 19 to vie for the Tema Golf Club Monthly Medal Championship trophy.
Mr Ebenezer Adablanu, Chief Executive Officer of the club, who announced this in Accra on Monday, named the clubs as Tema, Achimota, Celebrity and Bok Nam Kim.
He said the competition, which is being sponsored by TV3 Network for the first time, has registered a big entry because of the attractive prizes that have been put at stake.
A visit to the Achimota Golf Course by the GNA indicated that golfers are sharpening their strokes and swings for the event which would also serve as a prelude to the Tema Open Championship slated for August.
Crocodile Matchets Ghana Limited has been sponsoring the Tema Medal for some time now.
Mr Kofi Nyantekyi, General Manager of TV3 Network would present the trophy to the champion.
