Brew Aidoo wins Ga Homowo Golf

Carl Brew Aidoo shot to a 71 net to beat Emma Quarcoo who shot 72 net to win this year’s Ga Homowo Golf tournament played at the Achimota Golf Club on Saturday.

Playing to a handicap of 11, Brew Aidoo, who has also won the Infinity Achimota Masters Dubai prize recently, was again the winner in the annual competition held in honour of the Homowo festival of the chiefs and people of Accra.

Third place went to E A Amoah who also shot to a net of 73 but played handicap 18 compared to the 20 of 2nd placed Quarcoo.

4th place went to Eric Mensh Addo with Eustance B emerging 5th with a net of 73 and 75 respectively with the former playing to Handicap 18 and the latter Handicap 7.

Playing to Handicap 11, Vetch Bempong came tops in the Ladies’ event with a net of 73, beating stiff challenge from e. Amoah who scored net 75 playing to Handicap 25.

Clara Price took home the third place with a net of 76 playing Handicap 19.
