Addo-Mensah wins Achimota Medal golf

Accra, July 6. GNA - Eric Addo-Mensah returned 67 net to win the Achimota Golf Club July Monthly Medal competition played at Achimota on Saturday. The second position went to P. D. Borensten with 71, net beating Tom Sem on count back. About 50 golfers took part in the competition, which was used by members to sharpen up their strokes for major competitions.

Mr Samuel Adetola, Captain of the club called on members to use the new Website that had been developed to check information on their handicaps. He said the club would hold a Dinner Dance in December, this year for members and their families as part of the Christmas festivities and also launch the club's Magazine. Mr J.S. Addo, Trustee of the club and former Governor of the Bank of Ghana presented the prizes to the winners.
