100 register for May Day Golf

Accra, April 26, GNA-More than 100 golfers had so far registered for the Achimota Golf Club May Day Price Championship scheduled for Achimota on Monday, May 1

Air Commodore K.K. Pumpuni, Chief Executive Officer of the Achimota Golf Club told GNA Sports in Accra that the one-day 18-Hole Stableford competition opens to amateur golfers from Achimota, Tema and Celebrity Golf Clubs and is being sponsored by Mrs Clara Price, Lady Captain of the Achimota Golf Club.

Mrs Price, who is also the husband of the late Mr. Mike Price, has been sponsoring the competition for more than a decade now and announced that attractive prizes had been put at stake. Seasoned golfers like John Sam, Dan Dennis, Yaw Assah Sam and Michael Aggrey are expected to battle each other for the trophy.
