Great article. Yes over the years Christianity has been used as a tool for mental enslavement and for the purpose of dominance over others. Today the Ghanaian pastor talks more about the devil, witches and demons as a way of instilling fears in their members in order to make them beholden to the church. In short Christianity and Islam have become tools for psychological manipulation of gullible members of society.

Until the leadership of Churches will denounce Homosexuality there will be many questions. God is there whether we question it or not. We know of God and pray directly to Him; whites only brought us Jesus Christ. So what? So, if you Christians are measuring their style of prayer and worship to your faith in God hell is waiting for all of you. They do the worst things on earth, and they justify it because of economic might. However, our leaders in the church must stop the Western style of worship. Theirs is about money. You can't say they know God better than we do. The West is failing Christians everyday. New Bible versions are popping up more than ever before and watered down in meaning. God's love for his children and homosexuality practice are two different statements in the Bible. Just obey God's word; don't dress it and make it acceptable.
Christianity is about Morality and Respect. The church must stand up every time there is a shred of indecency in society. Those not in God are displaying shameful and immoral act in public. Meaning they are OK but where is the church? Secualar is the breakdown of moral behaviors. Immoral act is a disease and contagious, so it will infect the very people you believe you are protecting perhaps in the church. Christianity is like ones culture. You don't have to be at the chiefs house meetings, but you still exemplify the expectations of the culture and traditions.

And that the wages of sin is death,but THE GIFT OF GOD IS ETERNAL LIFE THROUGH JESUS CHRIST. So a man or woman needs God's forgiveness through His Son Jesus Christ. So she needs to know that it's a personal relationship with God through His Son , and that She needs to READ THE BIBLE HERSELF. THE BIBLE IS GOD's WORD for mankind. It is now t man who is your Saviour,but Jesus Christ. And she refused to believe in Jesus Christ as her only Saviour,then one day she will stand before Him as her judge.

Lady Mezbell would have been beheaded just for her statement that is one good thing about Christianity you are free to speak your mind read what ever book you want no one forces you to pray five time or more a day or fast thirty days and night just because Jesus did it. We have to protect our freedom and way of life too.My cousin converted to Islam upon his stay in Arabia but nobody in our family cares what ever religion he chooses can this be said if the other way round? Mezbell from what i read is still a confused mind but at least she has the freedom to speak her mind freely.

You seem to confuse the two words "Muslims" and "Arabs". Arabs may not be free to speak their minds but Muslims are.

kudos for the insightful write up. there are some things about religious people in common that makes them look childish. one, they confuse their religion with God. in other words, they think a disbelieve in their religion is automatic disbelieve in God, a kinda poor analytic capacity of the indoctrinated minds.
secondly they whole heartedly accept their prophets as having been sent by the true God(the True God all Africans knew before Europeans and arabs arrived with Christianity and Islam) and see their fellow Africans who don't believe in Islam and Christianity as people who don't believe in God. in their thinking there won't be God in Africa if Islam and Christianity didn't come.
thirdly they mistake their religious rituals and practices as God's rightful way of worship and the only way not to get burned in hell fire is to toe their religious rituals. they never ask which religious rituals will God accept because there's only one God receiving thousands of religous rituals.
finally they mistake the text in their books as God's true words even when it's contradictory, enimical and biased against their Race in favor those who brought the religion.
Religions are extensions of cultures . every culture has religious and spiritual beliefs. depending on where you were born or which people invaded your ancestors and forced their culture on them. as far as I'm concerned , the believe in God without attachment to any religion is the best and most Africans believe this way though our chiefs and traditional priest has their lesser gods in addition to the supreme God.
Mzbel said she believes in God but not the Christian God. I also believe same, I believe in God but not the God in Islam and Christianity who could kill all people in Egypt including innocent kids to make Moses happy and orders slaves to be submissive to their slave masters rather than ordering slave masters to free all slaves. or the god who commanded Mohammed to fight wars and kill innocent people and marry up to 12 wives including kids and his cousins. I dont believe in the god and allah of the bible and koran respectively and i won't also worship tigare and juju men. living a good life and abiding by your country's laws are worship of God. I'll sleep on Sunday for more energy to work on Monday. So long as you don't commit crimes against humanity God won't burn you in hell because you weren't a Christian or Moslem.
