Look here slavery never ended; the slave traders of old which used to come for human cargo on these African shores choose to come dressed in business suit while our own classroom educated but nonetheless ignorant and tribal elite class come to them with Bill of sale in hand just as long as there is a few millions here and there for their own pockets.
Dr. Bawumia is a classic example of a Ghanaian educated folk who ignores realities because he is busy with what looks good on balance sheets irrespective of where profits or savings are kept. The recent much touted refinance of the Mahama era loan agreement by the Akufo-Addo administration surely looks good for a mass of classroom educated but ignorant folks who forget about details. The refinancing company makes money, denying this reality only shows ignorance, but the profits either stay in American banking and financial institutions which provide the available cash for infrastructural project funding for American citizens and/or business or additional leveraged mean to acquire more Ghana assets which the Akufo-Addo administration had all but decided to sell, like the ECG with a few million going into the pockets of NPP elites. All of these developments are going down before us without a slave ship or slave traders that fit old stereotypes; our educated elite class have become willing and participating slave traders without a care for a nation of citizens who refuse to read to have the wherewithal to siff between bullshit and political gimmicks even if the charade is being perpetrated by one of their own beloved tribesman or favored political party. In the end what savings do come from the Ken Ofori-Atta and Dr. Bawumia-led deal at best gives the administration worthless money on paper, just like derivatives, to go spending on their pie-in-sky projects that bankrupts Ghana while gaining fleeting political advantage from a majority ignorant voting public. Voters who believe that the Nana Akufo-Addo juggernaut is making Ghana great in 4 or perhaps 8 years ignore the fact that these are things he could not do in his entire life as a politician with his hands in failed administrations past but is now the Ghana pied-piper nonetheless leading Ghana down the path of a potential tribal warfare.

Kuffuor sold the birds that laid the golden eggs to 'hipic' Ghana; Gh Telecom, Drillship & Ghanairways. Mahama sold Banks & allowed galamsey to send us back to pre-Genesis 1 v1 when God created the world. Must Ghana go on like that? Arise youth of Ghana and fight to prevent this practice for you & the future. NUGS, NPP, NDC, Muslim & Christian Youths please 'fight' to stop all privatisation. YOU can work to develop Ghana without selling Ghana. At your age we fought against foreign aid & loans with Akyeampong and built Ghana. we refused to pay 'eka bambara' and brought in operation feed yourself to save us. use Delta, Invisible, Kandahar,Bolga Bulldogs to enforce sanity in our financial dealings. No need for Special Prosecutor. TUC, GNAT, GBA, Chiefs, Clergy are part of the problem. Save ECG collect bill payments OR.... Delta get us our monies by any means. 1. Let me, however, advise that critique is beyond just pointing out what, in your estimation, is wrong. You did not do that and, consequently, you fell in the same category of complaint you sought to label the Hon. Minister. What will you do?
2. I quite disagree that power generation in/for Ghana is a matter of strategic foreign policy for the United States. It is high time we stopped entertaining unsupportable excuses that allow our government to plan to purchase 'a spy equipment' to catch a Tomahawk ICBM!!! In perspective, the State of Iowa US, has a population of about 3 million and a GDP of over 300 billion dollars.
3. In other words, lets cut the ideological B.S. and concentrate on sustainable development - equipment can come from east, west, north, south or, the Lord permitting, the sky.

The most strategic sector of the nation is the telecommunications and the energy is the President and the energy minister trying to tell Ghanaians we are not capable of managing ECG ?
