What possible advantage will accrue to Africa by bridging our borders. Those mindless individuals who advocate for borderless Africa should look no further than Ghana's intractable problems with Fulani herdsmen. Is that what Africa wants - marauding Fulanis with their herds of oxen ploughing our arable lands, and Nigerians streaming across the border with 419 machinations. Is that what Ghanaians want.
Unless there is a satisfactory modernization in majority of African nations, calls for a borderless Africa is a call for civil unrest.

Thank you for this piece. Yes, more needs to be done .What is holding us, is the spiritual blockage from the past till now.
The Lord God Jehovah holds our future, yet we still hold on to satanism.

First of all, Africa has to educate its peoples, so that they'd be able to tell the difference between borders & boarders; & more importantly, so that they'd be able to utilize all the resources The Almighty has endowed them "- Sub-Saharan Africa exports gold & diamonds, large quantities of asbestos, beryllium, cambium, chromite, coboalt, germanium, lead, lithium, nickel, platinum, tantalite, tin, tungsten, vanadium, & zinc." According to Michael Brown & Pauline Tiffen in Short Change - Africa and World Trade.
If only we can "grab and sell these resources after adding value, we won't depend on anyone.
