Where did Nana complete his mandatory internship? Which and what US law firm are you talking about and if you know the name where Nana did his understudy why not say it? Finally do you know of anyone, besides Nana, who has been admitted into the Ghana bar on a Saturday?
I know there are a lot more classroom educated but ignorant folks in Ghana who worship PhD's and other professional degrees because they lack confidence in their own capabilities and intellectual capacity. That is okay but it's no reason to be dumb and loose any semblance of logical reasoning.

2. Which law school: Inns of Court School of Law. Did the school actually exist? Yes, it was one of the most reputable in the UK. In 2001, it was incorporated into City University School of Law. There are other Ghanaians who trained there before the merger. These include Kofi Asante of CDD Ghana.
3. To whicho inn was he called? Middle Temple, which institution confirmed same to both Bokor and Kofi Ata. In fact, the latter made this information known to the public as a matter of principle anjd apologised to Nana for his previous false publications on the matter.
4. Note that Bokor is not claiming Nana Addo didn't train with a law firm. He is saying he did so as an admin assistant with Courdet Brothers in Paris.
5. Senior NDC lawyers like Nana Ato Dadzie have come out to state that they were called to Ghana Bar with Nana Addo and pictures have been produced showing same.
Finally, I don't have to worship "PhDs and other professional degrees" because I already I have them. And notwithstanding my education in world class schools, which makes me supremely confident, I still have a great deal of respect for a man like Nana Addo who may have a 3rd Class in Economics at Legon but went on to become- according to at least the Ghana Law Reports- one of the greatest trial lawyers of his generation.

Most Ghanaians really do not care about NDC or NPP which they see as similar - both driven by different groups of self-seekers. That's why it's easy for them to just take a tribal line. It's mind-boggling that Akufo-Addo has been able to lie his way through and practised law in Ghana for 40 years and has been able to get away with it up to this point. Now, he wants to become president, just as Kufuor also falsely claimed to be a lawyer and succeeded in becoming our president--- even though no one knows which law school he attended. It's a shame to the whole country of Ghana!
The image this kind of fraud creates for the country is the affirmation that Ghana is indeed a deep-rooted and widespread corrupt country. This is because no one can do this kind of thing unless there're corrupt people in the system who are willing to engage in it through taking bribes. We all saw how our corrupt Chief Justice Georgina Theodora Wood, who herself was elevated over and above all her seniors to her current position because she had covered up for Kufuor, his NPP, his Asante IGP and his deputy, and the Asantehene Osei Tutu II in the Benjamin cocaine saga, and how she saved Akufo-Addo by ordering the dismissal of the court case that Justice Kpegah brought against him. That court case would have delved into the matter and have it settled once and for all. But the powerfully evil and Satanic forces wouldn't yield.
I wonder, however, why the NDC as a party wouldn't take up this issue of Akufo-Addo's claim to be a lawyer and probe it and get to its bottom once and for all. Or, why can't President Mahama invoke it during his presidential debate with Akufo-Addo that will force him to tell Ghanaians and the whole world where and how he trained as a lawyer? Without challenging and forcing him to answer this question, it will leave a shamefully indelible mark on the image of Ghana because we have allowed a crook to fool all of us so cheaply. We must wake up!!!

As a lawyer myself, I can tell you that the only way to find out whether a person is a lawyer is to consult the register of lawyers. If my memory serves me right, Akufo Addo is properly enrolled by the Legal Council of Ghana as a lawyer, and that should end the matter.
As to any personal scrutiny and value judgment of how he became a lawyer, it is neither here nor there. One's recourse, if one has any self doubts, is to sue the Council and challenge the method they used to confer Bar privileges on Akufo-Addo. Akufo-Addo does not have to prove anything at court.
Justice Kpegah tried and failed. So as we speak, Akufo-Addo is a lawyer. Period.
I believe that is all that Prof. Asare was trying to assert: The way and manner in which a person becomes a lawyer is established by jurisdiction, and Akufo-Addo fully qualified as a lawyer by the standards established by the Legal Council of Ghana which is the only body established for enrolling lawyers in Ghana. There is no room for any doubt that he is a lawyer in Ghana.

I think critics of Akufo-Addo's status as a lawyer like to set up their own personal standards for how one can become a lawyer, and then proceed to declare stridently that since he does not meet these personal standards they themselves have set, therefore he is not a lawyer. These conveniently forget that they play no role at all in how to determine who becomes a lawyer anywhere.
There is, within every jurisdiction, the established rules and procedures by which one becomes a lawyer.In Ghana, that authority is the Legal Council of Ghana. This authority scrutinized the moral and academic qualifications of Akufo-Addo and swore him in as a lawyer.
Thus, the question as to whether he is a lawyer is therefore moot, and we cannot re-litigate his status in any forum beyond questioning whether the Legal Council violated its own due diligence and due process in conferring the privileges of a lawyer on Akufo-Addo.
So far, all the legal attempts to dispute the man's status as a lawyer has failed. Why are we then using hearsay argument to malign the man?

can you educate me - that i once jump into your office tell you i am a medical dr, but i have misplaced my cert , then you who knew nothing about my training said ok, i will give you a testimony and continued to admit me into the Association of medical Drs. how would you feel to know that i am using the testimony you gave me as the only document that justify my medics?
This is the problem why it has become defficult for the legal council to admit their error
