It is now clearer than ever that NDC is bent on stealing the verdict of Ghanaians again to perpetuate their massive corruption and incompetence. Just as they have been doing since the early days of P/NDC, they are again ready to kill and maim in order to impose themselves on the people of Ghana. But the good news is that Ghanaians are determined not to allow them hijack their future again.
The biggest problem we face is that Mr. Mahama himself is so crooked that he preaches peaceful and credible elections in public and distributes machetes, pistols and AK47s in private for killing maiming and intimidating the opposition members. And judging from Mr. Incompetent's dodgy behavior, the whole world has come to know that he is not interested in the free and fair elections that he preaches.
We all know what happened in the lead up to the 2000 elections, and how NDC tried to prevent NPP from taking power democratically. The Cuban-style self-serving and let the blood flow fake-revolutionaries have never been interested in the development of democracy in Ghana. And Mr. Accountability even planned to install a puppet government in 2000 to keep the seat warm for him to return later.

Point of correction: teachers trainees were paid allowance as far back as the 1960s. It was not Rawlings but Nkrumah who introduced this allowance. I enjoyed it as a trainee from Sept. 1966 - June 1970.

Manama gas some kind of plight in him and is one person who is hard nut to crash. What is wrong for him to sit down with the students body, the PTA, and those who matters to have this amicably resolved instead for him to take the stance he has taken to lose this election. From the look of things Manama was not interested to contest again but it was forced on him to accept it. He he would have his way he will say things which will let him lose the election for him to get some rest after do many years working as civil servant. Manama should have told the teacher and nurses trainees that he and his government and come out with a solution rather than telling them he would prefer to lose than restoring the allowance. An insolence in highest order. The solution.....
Let the trainees sign a bond for between 5 to 8years and guarantee with sureties that if the trainees refused to stay the number number of years specified, then their sureties will be used to defray the cost incurred on them. Their guarantors can also be made to pay if the trainees leave during the bond period. The only exemption will be those who dies during the bond period. This analogy is far better than the utterance he made and he is losing the elections big time. Nothing can save Mahana now. Not even the conniving with the electoral commision.
