I have not read or heard what the Environment Minister said. But if there is any truth in what the author in this article wrote, then we are heading in a very wrong direction. I had a discussion with a presiding member of a municipal assembly about this very illegal mining topic because that municipalities is one of the worse hit with illegal mining. I was really confused how casual he sounded. I later found out he has a team "mining illegally" for him. This is a country we live in. This is a country my children and grandchildren will in live in. This a country I ask my God to protect. God bless Ghana.
