We need leaders who love the country. They don't have to have a Phd but they can't behave like the donkey we currently have as president. Try reasoning with a donkey and you will see what I might

I know a traditional leader in the Eastern Region who has leased a large parcel of land to a Chinese group for the next 50 years to explore for minerals(and be paid royalties) while the youth in his town cannot find land on which to farm.

Obviously, the writer is unaware that the Chinese are simply employees of some local chiefs and businessmen.
They are not criminals but come from a rather poor part of China where gold mining was part of their occupation. ... read full comment
Obviously, the writer is unaware that the Chinese are simply employees of some local chiefs and businessmen.
They are not criminals but come from a rather poor part of China where gold mining was part of their occupation. They invented a machine which is able to extract gold better than any available, even from the waste from the Obuasi mines.
To tackle the problem, the govt must deal with these chiefs and connected businessmen, not target the poor Chinese hustlers.
