  The nomadic Fulani herdsmen menace is emerging as terroristic activity with raids and rapes of Agogo women and gunning down of Enugu farmers. With the increasing droughts of the Sahelian zone, these Fulani pastoralists are turning to the forest zones in the subregion.
  
  We need to include them in our classification of terrorism in West Africa. The Fulani herdsmen now carry AK 47 in addition to machetes.
  
  This is a new terroristic problem for ECOWAS, different from that of Boko Haram and Alquida in Maghgrib.
  
  The Fulani terrorism is likely to expand with the intensification of climate change, forcing the Fulani herdsmen to search for water and pasture for their cattle.

  Great and quiet an interesting perspective. We do have the opportunity to manage and control this type of terrorism. The advantage here is that their motive is vividly known just that we dont know strength of their fire power ...

  Great and quiet an interesting perspective. We do have the opportunity to manage and control this type of terrorism. The advantage here is that their motive is vividly known just that we dont know strength of their fire power. I believe that their degree of threat for now is relatively low, but we must continue to gather intelligence on that so that they dont become recruits or spies for terror organizations masked under percieved harmeless herdsmen.
