2."Can we forget so soon how Ghanaian teachers flocked into Nigeria to improve the system of education there? "" This is senseless question by all standards. Who did not know Ghanaian teachers flocked to Nigeria in those days because of the power of the Naira but not because the Nigerians had bad teachers. 1. The Ghanaians who went to Nigeria to teach were running away from a hopeless Ghana to a land of opportunity. You make it sound as if the Nigerians were ignorant and uneducated and we went to educate them. Nothing can be farther from the truth. I was one of those who taught there...
2. At no time in history has Ghana been better than Nigeria in sports - not even in football. Just look at the statistics. Head to head, they've beaten us more than we've beaten them. The fact that we've won more caf and reached WC quarts doesn't mean we're better than them. It only means were luckier than them.
3. Lord Lugard and earlier independence mean the colonials thought we were better? C'mmon! Silly reasoning for all the reverence you give to colonial valuation.
I am not going to vote for Akufo-Addo, but the way you, Bokor, have been going at this man all these years reveals some deficiency in you, Bokor, rather than Akufo-Addo. It's nasty, viscious and pathetic! Even if Akufo-Addo is not exactly a decent man, the way you hound him draws some sympathy to him and away from you, BOKOR!

In the 60's we allowed a desperate group of politicians to derail our progress after which we suffered until the advent of the 4th Republic ushered in a change in the course of our downward trajectory. Today, we are once again making good progress which, if properly managed and pursued will take us out of the Third World chain that we are shackled with. Unfortunately, the negative forces that have ensured that we remain chained in the Third World economy and environment are still vigorously at work as epitomised by the NPP and its prehistoric, inept and stuck-in-the-mud leadership.
