What is the differnce between what Dr. Otabil said and your needlessly stupid chaff you have maliciously churned out here for the consumption of your readers? If I understood you well, your beef with the reverend minister is that, according to him, 'Ghana has 'unwisely' mortgage its oil for 20-years'. Where did Otabil go wrong for you to cry wolf when, in fact, you did not state anywhere in your incoherent rebuttal to disprove the claim of the minister of God. Can't you see that you are on the same page with Otabil when you stated elsewhere in paragraph four that ".......What we have here is thus worse than a mortgage........". I know you will never see this because you and your hateful NDC lackeys don't have the man of God in your green books, oops! I mean good books. I think the man would have made a lot of sense to your atheist Trokosi ass if he was kind of 'Kwaku Bonsam' or a Nyebro-Trokosi of a sort. You see, until search a time that you guys drop your partisan voodoo politics and approach national issues with passion, ghana can never make any headway in our quest to achieve anything meaningful for the economy.

I guess you are just too unintelligent, like your fellow crude NPP travellers spewing their usual nonsense here, to see the sense and differences in what I wrote and what Otabil said.
So Otabil said Ghana, (meaning Kufour and the NPP) mortgaged our oil for 20 years. Is taking a mortgage a bad thing? Only rich middle class people can afford a mortgage or re-mortgage their houses.
As I wrote, it'd take more than a brief rejoinder to unravel the silliness of what Otabil said and re-paint the real picture all over again. That has been done already beautifully by Efo Solo, the expert on the subject. And still some of you are just too daft to grasp it.
Stop writing stupid hateful, ethnocentric comments. And stop using Ga-Adangmes names. Ga-Adangmes are not that stupid to call me Andy-K trokosi. They know that trokosi shrines originated and are manned by descendants of Ga-Adangme fugitives who had settled among Ewes, from Ada-Foah through the VR(Tongu, Agortime, Nogokpo...) to Togo (Glidzi, Anexo,...).
I pray, what was partisan in what I wrote?

Why don't you tell fellow "Nyebro" Dagadu to do the right by not pushing this stupid bill? Come November all these Ewe appointees see the exit. Ghana is for all of us, not only Togolese who claim to be Ghanaians.

THE EDUCATION:
"...It is a pure Concession System which handed over control and ownership of the oil reserves...to Foreign Oil Companies (FOCs), much against the letter and spirit of the existing PNDC Laws 64 and 84...It is these two laws that the NDC is trying to replace with E & P Bill, with a new-fangled Hybrid system which tries to combine the Concession System with the PSA System. Of course, GIGS and we in the FTOS-Gh/PSA Campaign have examined the 2014 E & P Bill and seen through the gaping holes and declared it a Trojan Horse which must be rejected outright!..."
WE SAY: 'Nuff said, for the education of the those too busy follow these events totally.
THEN THIS:
"...In fact, the oil, and all assets being acquired, have been handed over to the FOCS even though Ghana is actually contributing to the development of the Fields too!...What we have here is thus worse than a mortgage! It is a garage sale out of our oil resource on the cheap for a pittance!.."
WE WII ADD THIS:
There is proof by any number of observers that KOSMOS and TULLOW are smiling all the way to the bank, while Ghanaian children scrounge on the side of dusty roads for food, books, and sanitary pads!
FACT: Fact is, under a full-fledged PSA, the soveriegn (Ghana) does not need to have a financial responsibility in the development of the oil fields. With Jubilee Field totally de-risked and Ghana having paid dearly the last 5 years, financial responsibility in the development ought to be passe, all over the oil fields.
So, deal with all that, Mr. Mahama, Allow the PSA to give Ghana better than 55%!

Otabil does not make sense by the preaching notes we've found.
ITEM: The Sovereign (Ghana) can always re-negotiate, for fairness!
As argues, Otabil does not appear to be well informed, at best.
Sure, Ghana lost during the past 5 years.
But, Ghana can change everything if Mahama's NDC will do right by Ghana.
That is all the business about the Petroleum E&P bill now in parliament.
What we, of the Fair-Trade Oil Share campaign demand is nothing more than Fair Trade, achieved via a fully-fledged PSA.
So, let's see Otabil lend his voice, also to the call. In fact, he should attend the 28 April FTOS-Gh Workshop/Conference in Tema. (He could learn more, and could as a result put his voice to very good use on the matter.
On the other hand, if you think the water is all under the bridge already, that there is not much people can do, then Mr. Otabil would be arguing on behalf of Mr. Mahama's NDC: Keep that NPP-infested Ghana Hybrid System, and allow you minister like Dagadu to profit from that corrupt "fiscal system for Ghana's Oil".
We are for the former!
There are no 2 ways about that.

Indeed, Otabil, and whole host of the Ghanaian elite will benefit immensely from that Event. They seem to understand that something is wrong but they simply couldn't put a finger on it and, hence, how to rectify it. All is not lost yet; if only President Mahama can be extricated from the cloud of deception, subterfuge and resignation to our fate the Oil Lobby has woven around the minds of Ghanaians and withdraw that obnoxious at birth Bill.
PRESIDENT MAHAMA, DON'T STAMP AND SEAL THE GRIEVOUS HARM CAUSED BY KUFUOR AND THE NPP.

The greatest crime e ever committed against this nation is the outright handing over of our oil assets to Tullow for a pittance by the Kuffuor government. Oh yes, they benefited by stealing a whopping 3 percent worth 300 million dollars, yet no one, not the even our educated elites and pastors like Italian saw anything wrong. They saw nothing, heard nothing, and have decided to forever say nothing about this heinous criminality perpetuated on the people of Ghana. And now we have idiots who have lost their sense of patriotism for political purposes giving useless comments on this platform. God is watching all of us. Our deeds shall define our future in this world and the hereafter. God bless our homeland Ghana.
