You simply cannot justify the formation of private Militia in Ghana under any circumstances as we have had in the 4th Republic, period, let alone importing foreign Mercenaries to train them on top of it all.

No amount of spin can make that ignoble, thinly obscured dangerously violent behavior right.
You can vilify our Security Agencies all you want, you do not have any tangible charge against them that amounts to imperiling Akufo-Addo's life at any point in time. And if you do, what formal and legal processes did you and your cohorts take to seek redress.
There was no single record, or even rumor, of any shadowy figures threatening Akufo-Addo's life to even justify procuring a tighter security, until the after-fact fabrication Akomeah and others put out to justify the mischievous formation of the Militia and hiring of the Mercenary.
How come Kufour never had the occasion to require such a Militia in his run for the Presidency but Akufo-Addo does? What changed in Ghana to precipitate that condition in Ghana?
Meanwhile, all the murderous mayhem in our Ghanaian Politics, thus far, has been perpetrated by elements in the NPP, most of whom belong to your Akufo-Addo faction. It is most apt to mention that you are only chasing your own shadow. You've been rendered paranoid by your own violent proclivities.
So, be honest and bold to eschew the nonsensical notions of seeking any special Protection for Akufo-Addo. It is simply unnecessary. And he does not need foreign help to effectively protect himself from a threat that never was in the first place.
The way many of us see it, it is the other way around that Akufo-Addo wants to create the artificial tension to unleash his hound-dogs to brutalize innocent Citizens and blame it all on the incumbent Government. You cannot preemptively blame the third imminent failure of Akufo-Addo to win the Presidency on any fallacious intent to hurt him physically.
