Okoampa, why not just keep your eyes on the ball and tell us about the incomprehensibility of things that can better be grouped together?
The comparison of the incomprehensibility of homosexuality and the Holy Trinity is quite apt but why bring in the partisan political issues? It spoils an otherwise good argument.
Togolese nationals voting in Ghana, the South Korean deal, etc are all very comprehensible things. Even if you, figuratively, say you do not comprehend them, it is not the same type of incomprehensibility as homosexuality and the holy trinity.
Your first comparison is powerful. Your second is not. You spoil the case by trying to score political points by your comparisons.
You should have kept your eyes firmly on the ball: the oddity in Otabil's claims of homosexuality not making sense to him while at the same time feeling perfectly at home with the holy trinity - a much more befuddled concept!

"Lots of wind and thunder, but no rain .......", so say an old Seneca proverb. Our beloved, good old Shakespeare perhaps put it better, "...... full of sound and fury, signifying nothig" I am not surprised that this gentleman is discombobulated or befuddled by the concept of the Holy Trinity. You are not alone. A lot of people who believe they are so intelligent are also confused by the same concept. Unfortunately, this is the domain or territory of the unwise of this world. That is the nature of our God, He hides the important mysteries about Himself from the wise of this world, and reveals them to the unwise and the disregarded, of this world. You are too high to understand it, you need to come down. I would actually be surprised if you aren't frustrated by the concept of the Holy Trinity. You're too intelligent to understand. I support NPP too, so I'll give you a friendly advise, "Just limit yourself to politics". Thank you and have a good day, pal.

My professors said that a PhD holder is expected to express his thoughts in such a way that the highly educated and not-so-educated will understand, although they may not necessarily agree with him.
You are the exact opposite of a true PhD holder. You make no sense to the highly educated and the not-so-educated. And i bet you make no sense to yourself either

Ahoefe, this style of writing is boring. Why do we read articles? To understand what has got to say about any issue concerning humankind. You appear to be a learned person, but I'm afraid you are not. If your aim was to communicate to readers like myself, then you failed miserably. I have a PhD in linguistics but I did not understand your article. Write to communicate your ideas to the audience and stop the 'afuom' way of communication.

I can see through your veiled support for poofs. Why is it such an important topic for you. Like you said, we have better things to think about.
Those suggesting you tone down your "Show off" style of writing are being very constructive but your arrogance is blocking their message to you. Are you suggesting you write for the elite few? Well, you are not one of them. Merely holding a PhD does not make you an elite. Your kokoasi roots permeates everything you write about.

Many people complain about your language. Telling them you're not writing for them is not a very clever answer. Once u post your article on ghanaweb, these people constitute your audience, whether you like it or not. And they are all your fellow Ghanaians you want to reach with you're message.
You can decide to be sensitive to their complaints and tweak your style of writing a bit. You can also decide to forge on with the same style as you've always done. But it is presumptuous of you to claim that you write for an audience that is above the common guy on this forum. If that were really true, you would seek a forum other than this place.
As you can see, not many people visit your own blog.

Where have you been, Dr. Kwame Okoampa-Ahoofe? Why has each one of you so-called classroom educated Ghanaians in the Diaspora and here at home not left markers or handiwork to show, the uneducated ignorant folks, that you are every bit as smart and equal to folks in South Korea and all the other places you currently call home?
Under Kufour's administration, under which your hero and kinfolk Nana Akufo-Addo served faithfully and loyally, government assets were sold off because of “mismanagement” and inefficiencies. Tell me this: where were the capable Ghanaians as those assets were being sold off to private foreign investors? In Ghana as of today, custodial work our parents have mastered have been farmed out to low class Chinese as managers over Ghanaian workers who continue to do same work the same old fashioned way. Mensa-Otabil is a selfish horses ass who out of greed and selfishness would not tell the government that every Ghanaian should be granted a tax exempt status and why not?
I challenge you, Dr Kwame and the Mensa-Otabils of Ghana to advocate the leveling the playing field for all Ghanaians by making us all tax exempt walking and talking individuals. Without the tax exempt status that has been the source of finances for the Otabil industrial complex he would be just another classroom educated but ignorant Ghanaian who cannot buy what he eats and or sell.
