Kofi Thompson your article shows you are and NDC supporting all the rot NDC perpetuate against Ghana and bias towards NPP is outrageous hilarious when president John Dramani Mahama stole $4 billion dollars to buy cars for chief IMAMS and Legon School girls and also dole $292 million to AMERI and you see nothing wrong with that and the only problem you have is when NPP use $20 million for 50 years celebration and nothing wrong when NDC use tax payers money to celebrate June 4 and 31 December revolution. So did mean NDC don't waste tax payers money to celebrate independence.Kofi Thompson Write like educated person and not a stupid brat child.

Kofi,Don't get me wrong I like your writings and your expressions about how you want things to solve. But since you always write to criticize Former president Kuffour mistakes and leave out Rawlings,Late Mills and Our current President John Dramani Mahama without criticize them shows you are pleasing partisan politics your writings.Kofi I chaste Kuffour,Rawlings,Mills and Mahama for not supporting Apostle Safo,Gideon Agyari,Asidu Abudu,John Osei and all our inventors whom I don't know their names.Kofi even I wrote that Mahama should include you to Japan trip on the break thought of how to manage unclear leaks and radiations.I did not write further because you did a good job which I agree with you 100% while our leaders refuse to support research and development to please white man we keep creating jobs for their citizens while our turn prostitutes and armed robbers.President Mahama bought 200 foreign cars for ministries and not one local manufactured car from Apostle Safo.Kofi know that I will always read your article any time you write and if there is criticism I will not spare you.

Again, thanks for your kind words, Mr. Bond. Let us just agree to disagree - as we appear to be poles apart.
As it happens, I criticised President Rawlings on many occasions when he was in power - when I felt there was need for it in the supreme national interest.
I did same in the case of President Mills too.
The same goes for President Kufuor.
On a purely human level, I have absolutely nothing against President Kufuor, who in many ways is a fine gentleman. And he kept our nation stable for 8 years - for which we must be grateful.
And, after all, those who become Presidents are people we should respect - because it takes very special qualities to become one.
I respect President Kufuor for that reason - but our job as journalists is to be watchdogs for society: not members of a mutual admiration society with politicians.
I never unfairly criticised any of our past leaders, during their tenures, Massa. Not once.
Every single criticism made by me of any past Ghanaian leader, has been because it was in the national interest to do so. Nothing more, nothing less.
As for going on trips abroad with President Mahama, or any other Ghanaian leader, for that matter, I say perish the thought: it is the last thing I want to do.
In any case, I am not someone the NDC is enamoured with - because they are aware my conscience is not for sale at any price to any political party or politician.
Incidentally, one stopped travelling the world, a long time ago, as it happens - and one isn't about to start doing so again in one's dotage.
Thanks once again for your kind words - and may God bless you, Opanin.
