Many are leaving it for "charismatic" sects, which is forcing it to close its eyes to infractions just that it can win souls and remain as a Christian force.
How about the problems it had to deal with in the United States because its priests went after the "butts" of young boys serving the church? The church had to pay huge sums of compensation to save its face.
In truth, the Catholic Church today is not what it was in our time when we were growing up. Such a church has a lot of problems to solve before it can succeed in winning souls to its cause in contemporary times. There is too much hypocrisy in it.
The Rawlingses have a safe haven there, which is their own cup of tea., even as they head-butt other Catholics like former President Kufuor, therein.

My own UK-based sister was almost disciplined by the UK authorities in Yorkshire over similar issues.
Ezanetor was not based in Ghana. This does not mean that JJR lost control of Ezanetor. But assuming that you Doctor Bokor have children who are in teenage or post-teenage life, I will like to know how you can claim of any CONTROL in this era.
I go to EP at Adenta when I am in Ghana. My daughter decided to separate and find their own places or worship.
In any case, JJR has so much that you do not, or will not see, when it is about the Akatamanso. Mind you, Mr Herbert Mensah is not fighting any battle with the "Rawlingses" as you opt to label it. It goes without saying, that the state of Zanetor's escapades and relationship isn't a private issue anymore. Especially when, she is now seeking to represent a whole constituency in our nations capital. Lastly, the shenanigans and all the going ons are a reflection and a testament to the degree to which Ghana has been destroyed. Let no man think, I am referring to this government per se, but rather, I referring to the lack of discipline, lost from our schools and the type of curriculum that they use to educate our wards. All that, contribute to the cheap graduates we churn out yearly, and the weak citizens we have who do not even have the capability to discern or even evaluate critically the state of our country. Our graduates, and secondary school students are so weak in reasoning to the extent that, they cannot string a sentence in English without making horrible mistakes. How we allow such weak products to become leaders in a society that has lost its moral fibre is beyond some of us. What we sow is what we reap and Ghana, and I say, Ghana is reaping it big time. Since the medium of respect in our simple country now is "cash" "money" but not courtesy for boys and girls nor moral codes strictly adhered to by the elders of our communities. It's a shame we have dropped this low and we are even sinking further. Don't be deceived that, a change of gov't will bring us back to the roaring 60's and chaotic but stable 70's again. They are gone and gone forever. As for the school system, the earlier we return to the old systems the better for our next generation of leaders because as it is now, we have lost two generations to debauchery, greed, jealousy, thieves, corrupt official and lying pastors who seek to keep our friends, neighbours, families in perpetual IGNORANCE for their own self ends. Let's please change the system back to what we knew, at least in the sphere of education and see the difference 10 years again under the older system will produce.
