The only reason why the president is silent on the matter may be both political and tactical.I suppose the committee of inquiry had found no wrong doing and had recommended her reinstatement but the political climate and the judges bribery case had meant that decision will be announced when it is right to do so.
What she was accused of was nothing other than the usual pegs of office and she played to the rules.There is no breach or misconduct or violation of the legal rules and the government should be bold to say so and change the protocol governing certain offices which most had enjoyed.If we think those pegs are no more necessary because of changing circumstances then it shouldn't be retrospective,it must apply after her tenure.
