If somebody makes an allegation that under the President's directives Odike had imported goods into the country without paying any tax, doesn't merit an impeachment? This is a serious allegation that cannot be swept under the carpet. Neither Odike nor the government has denied this allegation. Meanwhile Odike's vehicle has been impounded and he is quiet about it. If he is truthful to himself he come out as man and retrieve his vehicle so that matters can rest and the president will be absolved of the allegation. So Lomotey as you had asked for the process the minority in parliament can take the matter up and call for an investigation. The president is not above the laws of the country. But this is Ghana else you will not write to condem Sarpong who has indeed raised a very legitimate issue.

If even we subscribe to a half glass/cup full theory majority of Ghanaians cannot jump for joy with where we are in Ghana; we have our freedoms to be stupid and or use any space in communities as toilet facilities but is that all democracy can offer? Democratic values are not things hidden in a playbook somewhere anyone of us can pick and choose for convenience; it’s a lifestyle. Ghana's NPP prefer to use democracy as slogan but could give a damn about best practices and procedures of democracy and it shows. America's founding fathers made damn sure their principles of democracy were written and formed the basis of government, instructed how government and even private institutions must behave to survive a democracy. I would like to see a list of 5 things the NPP and or you Justice Sarpong can lay claim to as sustainable value to Ghana's democracy by anyone in the NPP or its closet supporters?
There is not one government institution that was made better under Kufour and the NPP administration. In fact they expanded government programs hoping to see them fail because there are short-term political gains to be made by the NPP using national funds. You need someone impeached, Justice Sarpong? No where did Justice report that Odike ever met the president to cook up that tax scheme.In case Justice is unaware, hearsay is generally inadmissible as evidence in a court of law and therefore the president cannot be impeached based on what transpired between Appiah Stadium and Odike.

Odike allegedly was able to clear goods from the port without paying import duties and taxes. That is not hearsay, that is something that can be investigated from customs by using Odike's name or companies registered under his name to verify if he has imported any goods to the country from 2012 to the present and how much he paid to clear those goods.
What is this childish hearsay law jargon comes into this? Hearsay is when something cannot be verified from other sources. In this case, we have a car that has been repossessed, that is an evidence in itself that Odike was bribed for his support.
