If we should go by Okoampah's writing alone, Ghana will never be a united country. This is exactly the way of thought of the majority of NPPians. That is pathetic.
WE all saw how Kufuor alone changed the judiciary into his family business. This said, judicial corruption has been a life-long situation. We all know that, and most of us have wailed, cried, even insulted because nothing was being done to change the situation as it completely eroded our image because foreign diplomatic missions also know the problem.

How can you blame one party for something that has gone on for more than 20 years? The whole country is corrupt but you just had to politicize it!

This is absolute garbage!!! Is Okoampa trying to tell ghanaians that when Kuffuor was in power corruption in the judiciary was non-existent?Then the conclusion can also be arrived at that Anas work is meant to tell ghanaians that it is under the NDC government of Mahama the judiciary has become corrupt even though this is not true.I hope Okoampa remembers very well what Kuffuor said about corruption.Kuffuor said that corruption has been with us since the creation of Adam and Eve.The fact is the ghanaians society eats and drink corruption.Pointing a finger at the government is simply an attempt to score political points.I hope Okoampa will de-naturalise as an american and return to Ghana to help fight to uproot corruption.

From Government to Government since Ghana's independence, corruption has been perpetrated by crooked/corrupt politicians, public officials, and the Ghanaian public at large. Corruption is simply endemic in Ghana. Therefore to point to the NDC and hide the cohort of crooks in NPP behind this unintelligible diatribe is both hypocritical and stupid.

Must we throw our hands in the air in despair believing that corruption is endemic in Ghana, NO. Whose prime duty is it to tackle the canker then; certainly it starts with the government of the day who has been put in place to right the wrongs of the past.
Please, let us stop this political equalization as it would certainly send us no where near getting a sensitized society.

Sir,
We cannot continue with this “leveller” attitude! Anytime someone points out wrongdoing in society, we look for what Kufuor’s or another government did.
Corruption has been the bane of our development or lack of it, since independence and the reason why it has now been developed into a “respectable” and thriving industry is because anytime it comes up, we as a nation are divided along party/tribal lines.
At least Kufuor’s government prosecuted the thieving Mallam Issah and allowed the law to take its course on “Ananegate.” What did Ata-Mills do about the minister who used sportsmen’s money to buy pampers and host his mistress in hotels? What did happened with the Brear Aircraft purchase scandal (which Dr Okoampa-Ahoofe referred to), SADA, GYEEDA, Isofoton, Woyome, GTX, all of which happened under the Ata-Mills-Mahama, Mahama-Amissah-Arthur bandwagons?
When Ms Victoria Hammah was recorded bragging that “Nana Oye Lithur went to see the judges to rule in our favour, ”any decent government would have directed the police to invite the lady for questioning. The recent allegation of large numbers of Togolese nationals apparently illegally registering in Ghana to influence our national elections is another test case.
Mahama’s government is not only incompetent, but also extremely corrupt. We need to begin to do something about the endemic corruption that is threatening the very existence of Ghana. I suspect that the reason why Ghanaians on both sides of the Ghanaian political spectrum are afraid of an Akufo-Addo Presidency is the fear of his fighting corruption, just as he did with the iniquitous Libel Law, as Attorney-General.

KKO, please don't take the view or interpret my comment to Dr Okoampa-Ahoofe's 'accusations' as a support for the NDC Government's litany of corruption scandals. I'm neither NDC nor NPP. I have never voted in Ghana, and I couldn't give a monkey's which party is in power. However, I'm disgusted and disillusioned like any decent Ghanaian/Ghanaian heritage about this NDC Government's corruption scandals and incompetence. I'm not blinded to and unaware of the SADA, GYEEDA, GTX, Isofoton, Woyome, etc...corruption and fraudulent scandals linked to the NDC Government. When columnists like my fellow Okatakyie Justice Sarpong and Mr Kofi Ata wrote on these issues I absolutely attacked those crooked and fraudulent NDC politicians and Government. And these two friends on Ghanaweb in particular, perfectly know my views.
However, I don't believe despite the NDC Government's political corruption, somehow this Judicial Corruption should partly be blamed on a single political party/government. Corruption in Ghana is not distinguished by political colours and stripes. Ghanaians at large are inherently corrupt.

However, I still have folks in Ghana and I am actually part of a family business the taxes of which are thrown down the drains by nincompoops who only seem to live to steal and steal.
But even more worryingly, I now meet Nigerians of all people, who believe that on per capita basis, Ghanaians are now more corrupt than Nigerians! One Nigerian Estate Agent rattled off the addresses of properties he had personally sold to Ghanaians on cash in hand basis.
The more those corrupt rogues and thieves siphon out of Ghana, the poorer our folks get. That is why we all have to begin to do something about the sink hole that Ghana has become. Shalom!

Perhaps, NDC could not fight corruption because, the evil is hidding people's mind or heart. There is no act to know the minds of people and the evil they do in the dark. Each individual including the writer of this article needs to be transformed in mind, attitude and behaviour and live a life of honesty and integrity.
