It is because of the lack of cutting edge by bodies like the GII corruption is widespread with impunity in the Country.When a mail was sent to the GII for assistance regarding the illegal and criminal dismissal of a Doctor by the Ghana Health Service,the GII was mute.The doctor was victimized with a mental illness and sacked through an indefinite suspension because he was so vocal against corruption needlessly killing patients in Effia Nkwanta hospital.Everything is being done to kill the case and deny the doctor of justice because high profile persons like Ebenezah Appiah Denkyira DG,GHS and Alban Bagbin,former Health Minister are involved in this heinous criminal act.Though the case is still pending at the Human Rights Court since December 2012 with the Attorney General joined in the suit,it is obvious the case is being dragged to kill it and deny the doctor of justice just to cover bigwigs involved.One of the implicated judges Kofi Essel Mensah's handling of the case clearly indicate a conspiracy to drag,frustrate and make it a foolish case in the interest of powerful figures.Some of us are not surprised he has been implicated in the bribery scandal rocking the judiciary.The case will be heard on the 29th of september and the GII odd to put an eye on it to make good their intention as an anti-corruption crusader since the case bothers on naked corruption and gross abuse of the victim's right.

Those at helm of affairs of society are the cause of the woes facing society. Taxes that are paid by the poor farmers,fishermen and labourers for the development of our communities are often stolen by public office holders who are employed and paid to manage these funds. Corruption must be fought with the zeal of a religious fanatic.
