Kpokpoi is only as good as the soup that goes with it. And Gas are not the best makers of palm fruit soup. They are better at other things like kenkey, shitto, tatale - but not making palm fruit soup.
The problem is that much of the food we eat in Ghana sucks! We have not sufficiently exploited the natural resources we have. Our trained cooks have to experiment more with the items we have - make different dishes than the ones we already know.
We eat fufu too much. Fufu itself is tasteless. Like kpokpoi, fufu and banku are only as good as the soup that goes with them.
We should ban ads of food that is just full of oil. We eat too much oily things in Ghana. Noodles (Ndomie) ads on tv should be banned.
