We expected and predicted they will begin to fabricate lies to accuse the innocent , engage in serious mudslinging to create confusion and chaos leading to popularization based on ethnic , tribal differences , which later on evolve from politically motivated violence to open war against the Akans . Arm your selves NOW.
Democracy is all about due process and procedure and in this sentencing we have returned to the era of buga buga dictatorship . This man has been sentenced without the people getting to know the truth and as such can never again be tried due to double jeopardy , the whole affair stinks of a this innocent man being set up as an agent provocateur to shift focus from the corruption of the Mahama brothers. This man claims to be suffering from financial hardship yet had the money to purchase a 2000$ gun and if its untraceable is worth over 4000$ , only someone from national security could have given it to him , NDC we are not fools . We have followed with keen interest the criminal activities of the brothers Mahama and several times on this forum tried to let our people know the worst kind of criminal has occupied the highest office of the land through the murder of President Atta Mills. This affair with the equipment is only the tip of the iceberg which will bring down the mighty Titanic of the Gonja pepeni mafia. As the story develops we will hear of German , Swiss and Arab bankers looting the state coffers through bogus schemes and azaa loans. We shall encourage the American FBI and European union organized crime office to start investigations so their foreign counterparts do not go Scott free but answer in a court of law for their participation in corrupting a sovereign. There is not a single project in Ghana today that didn't have the Mahamas siphoning of billions of dollars yearly to Dubai , Switzerland , Germany , Iran , Italy and Brazil. They were so selfishly greedy that they didn't even bother to take their time to cover their tracks so there is documentation and evidence all over .Ghana has become the private property of pepeni Mahama and his relatives who are strategically placed in every institution of state to ensure pepeni omanhene gets his cut. This story of the equipment and their ridiculous stupidity in attempting to justify daylight theft is more than just proof of their low life criminal minds . Acting like kids when they think no one is watching to rob the cookie jar. Somebody should tell those fools that they can continue to rob banks and later on claim they are the Robin hood and so work for free , give me the equipment and fuel so i too will work for free. We see here the inner circle of the criminal mafia which includes Julius Debra , Collins Dauda and notice they are all pepeni idiots. People of Ghana dont bother shooting these idiots rather arrange to have them poisoned quick so the die and we are free. They have destroyed the economy and we are now on a roller coaster ride heading directly for chaos which will lead to political violence evolving into ethnic tribal wars whereby millions of the innocent may die. It will be better to start killing Mahama and his relatives / tribesmen so we can preserve the peace and let better more competent people come and put things right. Yes i give props to the man who went to pepeni fake christian 's church to shoot him dead .Even today they go about as if nothing has happened and continue stealing as they are convince the people of Ghana are stupid and will forget by Friday this crime. YOU CAN NEVER JUSTIFY THEFT AND CRIME . Coward pepeni has run away from his post with a fake excuse he is on leave but we will let him know he can run but can not hide, his days are numbered as God will surely punish him for his wickedness

Ghana ALERT: Presidential guards beat journalist
No image
On May 25, 2015, military men believed to be presidential guards assaulted Michael Creg Afful, a journalist with privately-owned Oman FM, in Ghana’s capital, Accra.
Reporting the incident in their May 26 edition, the Daily Guide newspaper said Afful went to Ashaiman to report on a dual carriage road being constructed by Engineers and Planners (E&P), a construction firm owned by Ibrahim Mahama, brother of Ghana’s President, John Mahama.
According to the newspaper, two military men reported to be presidential guards at the Flagstaff House, the official seat of Ghana’s president, were on site to guard Ibrahim Mahama.
Afful allegedly told Daily Guide that when he got to the site, he was taking pictures of the men working when he was approached by a military man who inquired why he was taking photographs of the workers and Ibrahim Mahama, who was also present. Before Afful could answer the question, however, another military man seized his phone and took it to Mahama.
The military man reportedly went through Afful’s phone and deleted the pictures he took at the scene. According to the Daily Guide, “the military man started slapping him there and then, whiles the other used a cane he was wielding to lash him severally”.
“It is alleged that the military officers carried out the assault on the orders of the president’s brother, who was said to have scrolled through the pictures on the mobile phone before returning it to the military officers– with the ranks of corporal and private– who were said to have been detailed to the Ashaiman road from the presidency”, the Daily Guide said.
According to the Daily Guide, Afful later reported the incident to the Ashaiman District police and was issued a police medical report form for a check-up at the Ashaiman Polyclinic.
“Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Hebert Sosu, Crime Officer of the Ashaiman District Police Headquarters, told Daily Guide that investigations had commenced into the case, and that the military personnel had confirmed seizing the cell phone of the journalist”, the newspaper said.

I never insult. Just point out the obvious. If you see the obvious and get insulted that is your absolute choice.
So lets analyze your logic:
A registered Ghanaian contractor has a contract to construct some roads in Nana Addos region using material X,Y, and Z. Same Contractor responds to an emergency situation in Accra about 4 kilometers from Nana Addos home in Nima/Asylum Down, using similar equipment(because that is what the job description is) from the municipal government in Accra
and PRESTO! the whole class/clan of people descend not on the Contractor but on his brother who happens to be the president. Man ! And we call ourselves civilized/intelligent?

I usually support most of your views on the web. Because usually they are clever and intelligent ( there is a big difference). But in this particular case I believe you are very wrong. I have friends who do business or actually volunteer during disaster relief in Texas and Alabama and IN FACT the "loaned" equipment and other things are usually branded clearly with the name of the company TEMPORARILY for easy identification and insurance purposes.
We all condemned Mr Kuffour when his children appeared too close to his presidency. It turns out there was really nothing going on.

I am sorry you cannot differentiate when company lease equipment and write their names on them but in this case, he Ibrahim is not leasing the equipment, he is voluntteerly using it.
Secondly, it is government equipment and nobody is allowed to put their names on government equipment. But you know what, in this particular case, government has not put its name on these machines because those machines were still registered in the name of a Germany company and you should be concerned how government property should be in the name of a Germany company which has been secretly given to this Mahama for him to put his company insignia on. Was this an attempted stealing? I BELIEVE THAT.
Why did Ibrahim and some Policemen beat a Journalist taking pictures at his construction sites where these machines are not supposed to be but were there? Tafo, Klagon and some parts of Accra.
Third, the reason he gave for putting his company name on government machine exposed him as not credible. How can putting a company name on machines prevent them from being stole? Thieves steal company machines all the time so that shows he has ulterior motive for 'slapping' his company name on these machines.
Fourth, I don't really care about his company's name on these machines but him using them to do his private contracts where he is earning millions in dollars is stealing. Living in Houston, if you work for any company and they give you a company car to do business on the company behalf and you use it to transport people on the side and charge fares for transporting these people, you are stealing for using company car for a different purpose and that is what Ibrahim did for using a $28 million property of Ghana to execute his private contracts. Ibrahim has not even denied that.
If Ibrahim wants to do philanthropic work, he should use his own equipment. By using government equipment, he has sidelined government employees who get paid to use these equipment. So Ibrahim is telling us he has employees who know how to use these machines but doesn't have these machines/ It doesn't make any sense apart from him using this excuse to get his hands on our $28 million equipment to do his private contracts and benefitting financially from it without paying anything for it.
This is not the first time Ibrahim has been caught taking advantage of his brother's presidency for financial gains.

Actually every single thing you have written about this might be true. I have absolutely no way to contradict you and as I indicated earlier on, the only reason I bothered to respond to the piece was because it was you who wrote it and I have always given you the benefit of doubt.
However in this particular case and in the case of Ibrahim Mahama and his relation with the president, I simply believe that too many people especially within the ranks of the opposition are just too eager to jump to the most sinister conclusions about almost everything.
I will like to believe that both Ibrahim and his brother are not STUPID. They cannot be! BELIEVE me. If Ibrahim really wants to dupe Ghana through his brother there are simply too many EASY and non traceable ways to do it than trying to steal a few old machines.
Please Sarpong, I really wish I could get you to see this. I worked briefly ( 6 months) in Ghana as a consultant and I was so surprise at the naivety and simplistic way people look at things. Sometimes it was so child-like it was nauseating.
I will like folks like you to move the debate a little higher and better.

A few old machines? Are you familiar with the whole case you are commenting on?
The machine was acquired new with a $28 million loan in 204 and you are calling them old, be serious here.
Why are the machines at construction sites at Akyem Tafo and Klagon where Ibrahim Mhama has a business contract to construct roads he has been paid to do using state property falsely acquired when they are supposed to be at Odaw river in Accra?
Until we stop supporting blindly, this country we call home will not develop.
