The machines belonging to the state can be let to lie without work and another company will be engaged to do the work with the state paying millions of Cedis. In the after moth of the June floods people were asked to provide various assistance to the state which they are doing in various forms. Some people provided trucks to carry waste from the floods and nobody question if there was a contract between those people and the state. The said that they did it free without charging the state. Others can do work without charging the state and that is acceptable, but it is only the brother of the president who is barred from assisting he state according to the unwritten constitution of the NPP. It seems that they want to bring in a foreign company to execute the job on contract and with huge amount for the state to pay. That did not materialize, hence sour grapes.
