It bespeaks intolerance in a man who has the potential to be a great leader. This dumb obsessing will, if not abandoned, lead to defeat and Nana must be told so bluntly. Of course, the praise-singers around him who turned “ALL-DIE-BE-DIE” from a one-night mistake to a five-year albatross will not tell him so. They will worship him to defeat and then help him to find scapegoats for their dereliction of duty."

Very interesting story. I am however disappointed that although in your story from secondary school you stated categorically what the student did wrong but you have not as yet given any evidence as to what the chairman and general secretary are doing to distroy the party or ensure the defeat of the flagbearer. Don't you think the two will be admired more if they work to bring the party into power? So I wonder how their purpose will be served by ensuring defeat for the party. That is really childish thinking on your part. Be honest and tell the world exactly what the two gentlemen have done that demonstrate their agenda of destroying the party. But let me add to the imagination. I am of the view that it is Nana Addo and people like you who are working with the NDC to destroy the party. You are the ones in bed with the NDC because Nana does not want to campaign. I actually sometimes think that Nana Addo has taken a bribe from the NDC and needs someone to blame for losing the election thus the building of disaffection for the general secretary and chairman. I am backing my arguement with facts. Anytime John Mahama does something that the NPP can take him on, then Nana Addo and his cohorts start fighting general and chairman which quickly takes the attention off the incompetent president. eg May 1st speach of Mahama. NPP responded with an unneccesary meeting which took attention off Mahama. Mahama disgrace at ECOWAS meeting. Nana people then went on this current coup attempt. So who has an agenda. So Nana Addo. Why is this seeming so difficult to do when you claim the majority consider them to be sabotuers of what and who. What and who is ?oing aanything that has been sabotaged. Has Nana Addo turned his attention to rebuilding the party structures? No. Has he began raising funds for the party (not himself), No. Has he set up a campaign team to develop his message of change and hope? Absolutely No. So what and who will a socalled Mole be sabotaging yet. AnywayNana Addo against better judgement stubbornly kept the brother of deputy Minister Jinapor as in his immediate circle of operatives and advisorss throught the planning and execution of election 2012, even though the current minister was JDM's special assistant. Be it the Kwabena has intention of becoming President in 2020 or near future,as they purport, would that be easy to come through by wrestling power from NDC (after they have gained roots)or succeeding Nana?. it should be noted that in every party there are supporters of individuals or groups, call them factions, but after a flag-bearer is chosen all work together to for the ultimate goal. People who want to stick to the same old way of running the party see these poor guys as standing in their way. however, i am of the view that they should step-down if that is the only way peace would come into the party.
