Every idiot in Ghana knows Trokosis are Togolese encroaches on Ghana lands. They are generally inward looking and are the gargantuan criminals Martin Amidu used to talk about. It is common knowledge, and an undisputed fact, that Trokosis have a stint in almost all crimes(ranging from murder to create, loot and share) in Ghana. Their dominance in 'Customs'( CEPS) is causing Ghana to loose millions of dollars of our tax revenue need to be collected at the port and harbors. Technically speaking,it is not only Voltarians who qualify to be called a Trokosi but every single Ghanaian who fits into this category of evil deeds that has brought to its knee. So, brother Kojo T, don't be afraid for Trokosi is not a bad word at all. there more of your kind out there. For those who don't know the etymology of the word Trokosi , it traces it's origin to Togo, a word use to describe how the girl child in criminally abuse by adult males in Togo and Volta Region( also known as Trokosiland). No wonder 27 girls got pregnant in one JSS in Keta municipality in just one term.

Ask any Voltarian why they detest NPP and they will invoke that old exchanges that took place between Victor Owusu and Dr Agama. Some were not even born at that time but they still clinched to it like and wish they can summons the ghost of Victor to come and apologize.
NPP should focused they attention on the rest of the regions and by the grace of God, they can win without the Volta Region. Kufuor won without them so, why even bother to go and waste time, energy and money? Tweakai.

Okoampa, your colourful 'military language' giving a tough and uncompromising impression, readiness and setting the tone for NPP's 2016 election campaign launch for the Volta Region is laughable. Of course, the Volta Region is not a 'political no-go area' for the NPP, but you need to realise that NPP has no 'grassroot support' in the Volta Region. Without 'grassroot support', you lose in the "ground game".
Even on the evidence of the 2008 and 2012 Election statistics, the percentage of votes recorded show a diminishing trend. This should tell you Mr Agyekum Kufour was more likeable than Nana Akufo-Addo in that region. The odds are stack up against NPP in Volta Region. And am sure history is not lost on some Voltarians. The loyalty of most Voltarians to the NDC is not just political. It is driven by ethnic and historical factors.
Personally, I don't see the NPP making any significant gain in the Volta Region. NPP strategists should rather think carefully and focus their energy and resources in getting the party's registered voters out on polling day, especially in it's strongholds.

NPP does not have any respect for Ewhes and Ghas, and has recently brought Nfantis and our brothers from the North in to the category of people that they think are subhumans. We witness how Busia's PP dismissed a hundreds of Ewhes from both public and civil service in 1969. That wicked act was repeated by Kufuor's NPP in 2001 and this time Ghas and Nfantis were added to the number. Kufuor even raised the barrier high by imprisoning those he hated, those who were his grating in the time of his owes. I mean during the owes of his whole family. When Kennedy Agyapong in December, 2012 call for other tribes to murder Ewhes and Ghas Kufuor gave him full support and even went further to tell Ghanaians that they were killing a fly with a hammer by arresting and charging Kennedy Agyapong. To add insult to injury Osafo Marfo came out saying that regions without natural resources should not have a native holding executive position in Ghana. This tribal egoism was supported by Nana Akuffo Addo who told the whole world that he supported what Osafo Marfo said just like Kufuor. All regions have natural resources, since human beings themselves are not manufactured but born naturally. The NDC has brought a lot of development into the Volta Region. There are roads and footbridges over the many tributaries of the Anu Lagoon and other rivers that flow into the Keta Lagoon.
