What Ahootan has written in th past and continue to spew here on Ghanaweb daily is the work of the devil. This mentally deranged Akyem schizo and son of a nympho is the devil’s advocate in person. As we all know the devil never sleeps which is why this ugly beast who is ugly than the night is all over the place day in day out. This idiot is possessed by the devil and I have zero tolerance on his devilish foolishness and no appetite whatsoever for his abysmal stupidity.
This Akyem zealot and warlord credo is may the devil care because he is a complete loser in life, as we all know the devil dances in an empty pocket. But we the good people of Ghana will renunciate this devil, the decendant of Mate Meho, before he puts a wedge between us and Ivory Coast. Speaking of the devil, may the devil take him for the devil finds work for idle Hands, in other words, an idle brain is the devils workshop. Okaompa is making a lot of sense. The problem though is that when we have foolish and ignorant people in positions of authority, their stupidity emerges at the least confrontation.
Kweku Baako like many Ghanaians, including the president, are simply stupid because they don't know that Ivorians are our enemy, especially Quatara. how can they foresee the danger and their schemes. The truth is that, Kwaku Baako is myopic and un-analytical.

How are you Kwame?
I think you’re right in some of your opinions then wrong, too, in others. And let me tell you why.
It is true and undeniable, that Ivory Coast did have interest in those oil fields in the past. While I cannot ascertain very precisely when Ghana initiated its oil exploration, Felix Houphouet-Boigny in fact took steps towards drilling oil in [that] region.
I was in Abidjan in 1982 when as a president of the french-speaking Côte d’Ivoire, Boigny announced in grand fashion how Ivorians would in a short while “wash their hands with oil”. The message became the most talked about blurb on everyone’s mouth in the Capital. People were jubilated hilariously and the new echoed and re-echoed with fury in bars and public places. The event is unforgettable.
I could remember the drilling was supposed to have been undertaken by the Americans and it was only a matter of time. However, the Ivorian president underestimated a very serious obstruction in the way: A certain Jerry John Rawlings of Ghana. Rawlings spared no time and efforts in sending the Ghanaian Navy to the areas he deemed belonged to Ghana. I must stress that, at the time, Ivory Coast didn’t have a serious navy/Army of their own and depended on the French for protection. Not only did Rawlings just not want to hear anything at all about the Ivorians’ drilling oil in the area. He in fact menaced the navy would fire on anyone trying to open any activity in the area and was making everything out of the issue. It was a remarkable imbroglio prompting British intervention and propping Rawlings’ position.
The ensuing bilateral talks sent Rawlings twice to Ivory Coast.
For a reason I personally can’t fathom, the case was not media-hyped in Ghana, but what went on behind the curtains were incredible. So serious were the issues that they warranted a complete arrest and further exploration by the Ivorians and their American counterparts.
If Ivorians couldn’t drill the oil then, there must certainly be reasons why. The initial talks slated to have taken place in Abidjan ended being shifted to Yamoussoukro because the unpredictable Rawlings came to Abidjan, waited on the tarmac for a while, decided it shouldn’t happen there and instead took off to Yamoussoukro to wait for the Ivorian president who came in later.
Who was the premier ministre in Ivory Coast then? Alassane Dramane Ouattara! He thought the negotiations went in favor of Rawlings and became convinced his President just gave the parcel of land away to Ghana. Many people thought his decision bringing him to power took root since those negotiations. That is where I think Baako was right: Ivory Coast is pretentious and have nothing to take in those oil fields. They didn’t drill oil since 1982 because the place didn’t belong to them, so it can’t be theirs at this time.
Baako is a bigot, a hypocrite and total waste of time, but he could be right in his takes on certain issues. Baako would have a stolen booty in his hand, decide not to see it and yet accuse others of the same thing, but this time, I think he is saying the truth, though his manner of saying it is wrong.
There is one thing to know about Ivory Coast. They could be our brothers but they will never like us. They take us as fierce adversaries and will do everything to undermine us if they have the opportunity and resources. Please do NOT contest this; I do know what I am talking about. Ouattara has an objective, to beat us on all fronts to look good and I think he is on the right pathway to having it his way.
Ivorians are not about a quarter as corrupt as we are; they only need a good leader. If that’s identified in Alassane Ouattara, Sarkozy’s marionette friend then they will be counting their successes in a few years to come while we will continue down the slope to perdition.

THIS, FROM OUR ESSAY ON AMOAKO BAAH, THIS SATURDAY ON GHANAWEB: "..Strangely, in 2015, our professor is proposing Ghana form a cocoa cartel with the Ivory Coast.
How absurd!
Today, Prof. Amoako Baah should look at the Ivory Coast as a neighbor best separated by a Euclidean fence beginning at Cape Three Points, as a neighbor whose puppet masters still remotely control their African lands, as a neighbor with mostly unshared, incompatible, interests.
Fact is, Ghana has always been richer and safer compared to so many other African countries that were poorer without the Nkrumah vision, without the CPP development agenda, without the African-centered universal ideologies at bottom of all the physical and human development that were crowned by "the best of education" Africans could get in Africa..."
So go figure that one out for us, Prof. Amoako Baah!

The criticism has to be substantive because others might hold you to the same standard. For example, I'm having difficulty understanding your last sentence because my mind is telling me CONVOLUTED is an adjective but you have used it as a noun.

You don't have to be mean or petty to contribute or share your comments on someone else's thoughts. Kwame Okoampa-Ahoofe has a style of writing that's uniquely his. Respect that and I believe he has a target group when he's expressing personal thoughts in his own unique style. His writing style is not for everyone. You'd not need to be mean to him while expressing your comments if you believe you belong to his target group. If he's not writing for you then why bother with a response? If he writes for you then your comment is substantive, sober and devoid of insults. Personally, I don't agree with some of the things he writes and if I have to make a comment I'll do so in a civil manner. Talking about understanding, I've a hard time understanding your last sentence. What do you say?

The Ivorians were there when Ghanaians were painstakingly searching for oil in the area which is now in dispute, why didn't they tell us we are in their territory until the discovery of oil? To be frank with you, the Ivorians have proven by their action that they are a bad neighbour to live with.
In actual fact, it saddens my heart that you "Braa" Kwame, a son of Ghana should sit in the whiteman's country and be in agreement with what the Ivorians are doing which has the potential of turning our peaceful neighbourhood into a war zone.
Anyway, the JHS Students are still pleading with you for they can't find the meaning of some of your words in their "Tiny Dictionaries". Be mindful of the fact that writing on this forum is not purely an academic exercise and as such must try to write to the level where everyone reading your article would understand what you are trying to putting across.

A hate-monger like you is the very one acting as Akufo-Addo's false propaganda peddler and messenger of hate and divisiveness. Okoampa-Ahoofe, you're not only a serial liar but also an evil distortionist, not to mention a one-way retarded academic who is prolific in putting out demented and hate-field garbage articles that showcase your penchant for evil and deception. Okoampa-Ahoofe, you're seriously retarded, a hypocrite, a serial liar, and an idiot that the devil raided Hitler's mortal remains and created you out of Hitler's ribs.
When you finish eating your dollar menu buggers from McDonalds, you start writing gibberish. Your articles are so poorly written, sometimes I wonder where you had your education in US.
Ask your father, young man, I was his teacher in your village.
No wonder you teach at a community college. Get a life old-man, and while you're at it, stop trying to pretend like you are somebody to our brothers and sisters back home.
Smart!
PROF. I MUST BE FRANK, I ALWAYS FIND YOUR POSTINGS ON TRIBALISM, AND AKAN SUPREMACY VERY OFFENSIVE AND SOMETIMES SHAMEFULL ESPECIALLY COMMING FROM AND ACADEMICIAN. THIS ARTICLE IS AN EXAMPLE.

Many a times one needs a dictionary by his or her side to completely understand anything written by this English Phd man. It makes me wander if he knows the elements of good communication.
I don't need a dictionary to read him. What he writes is his opinion. Kwame is sometimes crazy, but there are times liars could be right, too. I don't mean he is. You have to comment on what's addressed in the article. If you ...
