Azindoo, are you also one of those partisans who can view the Ghanaian political landscape only through one eye and must shower superlatives on your fellow travellers?

Ohhhhh! Darling Random Eye Movement, take it easy. Hahahahaa! I examined the article in the context of literary beauty not in the content of partisan politics. Mine is about how the young man used language to convey a message. I humbly leave the political content of the article to political analysts like you. Thanks for understanding.

... what, exactly, is balanced about this article. If you want to praise an article for its literary qualities, "outstanding reasoning" is hardly a term to use to convey that quality. Neither will you describe it as an "excellent analysis"! These terms are more appropriate for the contents of an article rather than it's form - which latter will be a more literary endeavour.
Azindoo, your explanation is far from convincing.
For one thing, you may agree with the writer's opinion, but that should not necessarily lead you to describe the particular piece of writing the way you do.
The above article has no outstanding literary qualities, the analysis is not excellent in any conceivable way and there's no way you can describe this as engaging in any "balanced discourse" - literary or ortherwise!
The only thing you can say in favour of the piece is that it doesn't contain any obvious grammatical mistakes - the types you've been educating us on in this forum. It is nothing more than that.
Then we all abhor violence in our politics and it's good for the author to caution us against it. But that does not make this article excellent, outstanding or balanced in any way.
Azindoo, you've over-reached yourself in your effusive praise of this very mundane piece of writing. I thought you knew better than that!

You are just an ignorant fool without any breeding. Go to SA to join those savages burning and hacking down fellow Africans.
Unfortunately, there are just too many of your ilk who don't know that most Ewes were part of the Gold Coast long before the parents of Nkrumah were born! Yes, Ewes from the south (Anlo) through Tongu to the Peki areas, were bonafide part of the Gold Coast from 1876.
Actually, economic interest in the whole of present Eweland, including the TVT part, was "bought" by the British in 1850, thus becoming British sphere of interest from therein.
An Ewe, Torgbui Sri II, known in private life as Cornelius K. Kwawukume, was the first Gold Coast to be inductd into the LegCo as unofficial member, top be followed soon by Nana Ofori Atta.
I blame the educational system in Ghana for fostering this crass ignorance among so-called educated Ghanaians.
Btw, do you think only Ewes were in that College?

Yes, NPP should stay away from the Volta Region. Call me whatever name you like and I do not care. Why? Can you force me to like you or accept whatever you do knowing very well that I harbor some deep hatred towards you? No and never. Some Ewes are still living with what took place between Dr. Agama and Victor Owusu. The irony is that they never mentioned Dr. Agama's name anytime they invoke that "inward looking" mantra. It was Dr. Agama who took a swipe at Victor before he received that inward looking statement that had lived with Ewes ever since.
NPP should never set a foot in that region and with a proper campaign message, they can win the election. People with good memories can testify that Kufuor did very well for the Volta Region but they act as if NPP did nothing for them. Do not force someone to accept you. NPP, please, leave the Volta Region alone because it will be a waste of money, time, energy and whatever to venture into that region and campaign knowing very well that "your presence is not welcome"? Tweakai.

The constitution of our republic stipulates that there shall be no party based on tribal or religious grounds. All political parties should be national in nature. Every party has the right to campaign and engage in political activity in any part of the country. No party that calls itself national can cut out any part of the nation and make it a no go area. It is the duty of the NPP, if it is national in character, to woo the people of the Volta Region. It should do this even if the people of the region are hard to convince. Some people in the region may turn their backs on the NPP but a national party cannot turn its back on to any part of the country. And do not forget, Pelicles, that the NPP is very strong in the northernmost parts of the Volta Region. The presidential vote is decided on a national basis and the NPP presidential candidate will need every vote from even the regions it thinks are hostile to it.
Moreover, saying that NPP should leave the VR is a blatant display of tribalism on your part, Pelicles. And that stance cannot be welcome by any well-meaning Ghanaian.
