NPP paranoid? Maybe, and if so then deservingly so. Nyebro Borkor, your thieving NDC and their crooked EC accomplices (currently headed by the bribe-taking satanic thief Afari Gyan) have shown that they cannot be trusted. Ghana might need a war to straighten out these high-order crooks if they attempt to cheat the voters again. Yes, NPP is justified in feeling 'paranoid'.

You could have used your "coconut" to know that the 23008 was a typographical error and not responded the way you did. Of course, I should have been the first to solve that problem, but I didn't, which has given you the opportunity to indulge in pettiness.
Couldn't you have picked on anything substantial for comment?
From the way the NPP people are crying all over the place about who should replace Dr. Afari Gyan, I am more than convinced that they have already lost traction and are gearing up to resort to hooliganism.
General elections are won at the polls and not in the chambers of the Electoral Commission or the dark alleys of the Supreme Court.
Instead of crying wolf, the NPP leaders and their followers should refine their politics (to cut off the roguery and tribal attachments, not to talk of the arrogance and self-righteousness that have rendered them unattractive to the electorate) and descend from the ivory tower to change the negative impression about them.
Of course, the going is tough for the Mahama-led administration and Ghanaians are complaining about its inadequacies; but it doesn't mean that the NPP will automatically be favoured. It will take more than the "Concert Party" shows being enacted for the tide to change in their favour.
Unfortunately for them, they don't know how to reach out to the electorate and have remained fixated on their anachronistic political agenda. Such characters!!

Which other political party is behaving as crazily as the NPP is doing over this EC Chair issue?
My friend, know it now that elections are won at the polls. The NPP lazy politicians should rather expend all energies and resources appealing to the conscience/senses and sensibilities of the elevctorate inswtead of fretting over who replaces Afari Gyan.
In our Ghanaian electoral system, are the results of the elections not announced at the various polling stations and forwarded to the EC district, regional, and national headquarters for certification and endorsement as a reflection of the will of the electorate?
So, if the results as announced at the polling stations show that the NDC's candidate(s) lost, what can the Chair of the EC do to change that outcome?
You see, my friend, people like you make the NPP a laughing stock in contemporary politics.

There is no Ghanaian who is a-political. Doesn't the Chair of the EC vote on election day? Can he claim that his choice should be the preferred winner of elections? How will he do so?
Will these NPP people be honest enough to look back on what happened before the general elections on August 29, 1969? Who was the Chair of the Electoral Commission? Who was the Chair of the Center for Civic Education but Dr. Kofi Abrefa Busia, which Center collaborated very well with the Afrifa-led military junta to pave the way for the Progress Party?
Who was the Chief Justice of Ghana at the time but Edward Akufo-Addo? Who else wasn't put in a position of trust to smooth the way for the United Party elements (galvanized into the Progress Party to take over from the military regime of cowards?
Why did they collaborate to ban the Nkrumah faction from doing politics? Why did they even go ahead to use state machinery to promote the agenda of the Progress Party (having already put in place the characters that they trusted to manipulate the system to advantage)?
Folks, there is a lot to glean from Ghana's history to inform us about the w2ily nature of these latter-day saints of Ghanaian politics. These political Pharisees banded together into the Asante-Akyim tribal conclave called the NPP!!
And they are so naughty as to tag onto themselves a "Dombo" appendage to create the impression that there is an integral Northern Ghana aspect of what they reflect. That is why they are bent on grafting Paul Afoko and the politically infantile Dr. Mahamudu Bawumiah to their tribal wagon for exploitation. Such characters shouldn't be tolerated!!
The hard fact, though, is that the EC Chair cannot tamper with the results of the elections. What these NPP people have failed to know is that elections are won at the polls and not in the "engine room" (or what is called the "Strongroom") of the EC.
Hindsight tells me that the late Justice I.K. Abban knew the truth about elections, which was why he refused to bow to the pressure mounted on him by the "Fa wo to begye Golf" Acheampong when the outcome of the referendum on "Union Government" confirmed that Acheampiong had lost the bid. No amount of intimidation or "huhudious" promises could change the situation. In the end, what happened? Acheampong manipulated the situation but that manipulation culminated in his downfall and eventual exit from this world by firing squad!!
These NP people howling and hollering all over the place are so myopic and infantile in their politicking that they always make me puke and wish I could just bite my tongue and spew it away. Silence!!!

And when you get a celebrated buffoon like Bugri Naabu up North doing their dirty work for them, you should not be disoriented at all. It is just a matter of political intrigues.
This Bugri Naabu is manipulating the situation, constantly harping on the Kokomba element to create a worrying impression (At least, we know much about the Kokomba-Nanumba war to foresee where the NPP and its Bugri Naabu are heading).
There are many other pawns of the sort being used in this checkered political game by the NPP.
Having already declared their agenda of making Ghana ungovernable for President Mahama, they will do all they can to pursue the tribal agenda as an "explosive" trump-card to play.
In the end, though, all their rabble-rousing will come to naught. The truth will hit them again at Election 2016. I pause here for their usual insults.

I am really full of the shit that I will pump into your blazing head so you can become enlightened to know that the kind of politics being done by the NPP is neither here nor there. It won't solve any problem to relieve Ghanaians of their existential burden because it is sterile made up of nothing but useless criticisms and a holier-than-thou posturing that serves no useful purpose)
Ghana's problems, which some of you are quick and ignorant to raise and pin down on John Dramani Mahama, have been known to be systemic (whether by a historical accident or through the failure of the political authorities that have ruled this part of the world since it emerged as a political entity).
Nothing has been done by the various governments to address that "systemic" conundrum until now that everything has calcified into an intractable mass of problems turning everything upside down.
All of a sudden, though, the political Pharisees of your preferred political camp (Akufo-Addo and his gang of malcontents)have sprung up to create the impression that Ghana is doomed under the rule of the Lion of Gonja (John Dramani Mahama). And unwitting characters like you, adulating such a fraud, have bought into that nonsense and geared yourselves up to sustain the Don Quixotic nonsense that Election 2016 will deflate. Fear has already begun knocking on your doors, which is why you are bitterly complaining about moves to appoint a new Chair for the EC.
If you people are confident that the Mahama-led administration has failed to perform creditably and cannot be retained in power, why don't you just relax for Election Day to confirm your stance?
Why the needless anxiety over who replaces Dr. Afari Gyan?
Cowards dying many times before your actual political death?

The yearning of the NPP to get hold of political power at all cost should be of concern to everyone who wants to see our country as a whole but not pieces.
The NPP is determined to win the next election to the extend that they want the incumbent to position everything in their favour in order to make their election victory very easy. For instance, their useless election petition was about clerical mistakes made by electoral officers on the Pink Sheets and not about bloated Voters Register but they are insisting that a new Voters Register should be opened.I can bet my last coin that if the government succumbs to such a demand, it would afford the NPP the opportunity to bloat the Register at their strongholds.
And what about the hullabaloo about the appointment of the Electoral Commissioner? Every reasonable or educated Ghanaian knows that there is no way that the Electoral Commissioner can aid or declare a vanquished party a victor in any election held in Ghana. This is due to the fact that our electoral system is structured in such a way that election results can be verified. They want President Mahama to appoint one of their own to do the unthinkable for them.
In fact, if measures are not put in place and the NPP loses the next election there would be problem. The NPP are bent on coming to power because according to them they discovered the oil and as such do not see the reason why NDC should be controlling affairs instead of them(NPP). If I am lying then cast your minds back to a statement made by Akufo-Addo during the heat of the 2012 election campaign to the effect that the 2012 ELECTION WAS GOING TO BE VERY KEEN BECAUSE OF THE OIL. What has oil got to do with election?
In order not to allow our countryv to be plunged into chaos because of greed, measures must be put in place so that whoever loses the election in 2016 would accept the result wholeheartedly.
