What is really the purpose of your piece of today, written in such good and correct language? Are you saying that the statistical authorities are giving us false figures since the Xmas will not be enjoyed by Ghanaians? Are we to conclude that the Christmas will not be enjoyable for Ghanaians because of bad government policy - lack of constant electricity, trafic jams in the cities? Is this piece also, by guise, an ad for an online shopping site and delivery company in Ghana? Or you just want to wish readers a Merry Xmas?
The spirit of Christmas has changed over the years as part of the modernizing influence of the world. That spirit of Christmas you long for Ghanaians to find again has changed over the world and this has nothing to do with govt policy. Even if we had 24 hour power in Ghana, Xmas cannot be like it was in the past - not even its spirit. Times change and things change with them
