The stupid drug junkie and nincompoop, Okoampa-Ahoofe reported me to the disciplinary office of The State Bar of Texas alleging the following, "Mr. Samuel Adjei Sarfo routinely writes articles which he publishes on Ghanaweb.com (sic) defaming me and passing himself off as (a) Doctoral Degree Holder, although he has only a JD degree and not an LLD or Ph.D in law, or even an LLM degree."
Kwame's complaint was summarily dismissed with all the contempt it deserves. After all his education, the fool does not know that the Juris Doctor degree (JD) is a full doctoral degree considered even higher than his stupid Ph.D. He is also too stupid to realize that he is a drug junkie in the real sense of the word.
This should be his first lesson in messing with an astute Texas attorney and a holder of a doctoral degree in law.

Fellow Ghanaians, is this what the staunchest Akufo-Addo surrogate would be doing to the rest of us for criticizing him and his cohorts? They cannot stand any civil disagreement with them. They see every critique as another assault from an enemy who must be destroyed, no matter how constructive such critique is.
But above all, this is what many of us in diaspora must be aware of: that some of our own would sell us off at the slightest provocation.

My brother, teaching at a community college as he has been doing all these years has further dulled his intellect (if he has had any at all) to such an extent that he cannot validate himself without attacking other people who write to enhance public discourse on issues. And he is so limited. I will tell you what some of his own colleagues in the Department of English told me about him. A nuisance to neglect, my brother.
I have known him as a fuddy-duddy and treated him as such. To move on and establish yourself as a commentator on social/political/economic issues affecting Ghana, you need to put him and characters like him behind you.

I have stood my ground that Dr. SAS NEVER taught me anything in my undergraduate studies at the UCC, although he was in the Department of English and had mates who were my Teaching Assistants.
There is a lot going on that may all boil down to vicious attempts to denigrate those not of the same political persuasion as those doing the disparaging; but I am too experienced to bother my head over those niggles.
When I pointed things out to Dr. SAS, he was his "folly" and made up with me. Since then, nothing awkward has come from him. Such is the power of reality!!
In this case, Okoampah went too far in exhibiting his stupidity and trenchant hatred for those he cannot outdo, that is, if Dr. SAS's claim is to believed.
The truth is that some people think that they can just contact employers or professional institutions that their "nemesis" belong to and undo them. It is impossible, my fellow Ghanaians, to just weed someone off the scene. That is what hate-filled imps like Okoampah don't know. You see, the opportunity to teach at a community college and to remain stuck there is all over the place; but true scholars wishing to advance don't enter the community college. They apply to full-fledged universities and compete with other applicants on the basis of worth. After the Search Committee has done its work, the best candidate in the pool emerges to be respected. Who respects Okoampah at the Nassau Community College, where there is no opportunity for advancement in the sense of scholarship and professional accomplishments? What I can’t stand in this world are people who come from a humble background, struggled through school and life but can’t stop disturbing our ears once they earn a title. It is one thing to celebrate and be proud of one's hardwork that earned one a title and another thing to become a nuisance because of that title.
I have disagreed with you in the past and may have had some sharp words for you here and there, but I have never come close to having the same opinion of you as I have of Sarfo.
Regarding Okoampa teaching at a community college, well, I don't make much of a difference between a community college and a fifth-tier Long Island University, Dr. Bokor. Spare me that baloney!

But to go to the extent of seeking the loss of one's employment in diaspora just because you can't have him or her to share any view with you is way over-the-top in meting out vengeance.
However, I must concede that it has long been established we Ghanaians, in particular, are wont to betraying our own in foreign Countries. And that characteristic seems to be hinged to our Culture of making enemies of those who simply dare stand up to us to offer a different point of view from what we hold.
That negative attribute permeates our both our Politics and private relations with others. Even as we claim to be most welcoming to Democracy as the only enhanced form of politicking in these modern days, we conveniently sift out the basic elements of decorum which comprise the refined human interactions expected from that type of governance. That dangerously undermines the system's grounding in our Nation.
The tendency to portray ourselves as owning some superior humanity to that of others, either by virtue of our higher Academic achievements or greater opulence, is most defective in building any Society where we would want all to think each of other as deserving equal rights.
We sadly, erroneously take meritorious prowess in various activities we engage in for some measure of purity of our humanity. We contemptuously ridicule those we defeat in contests, be it political or otherwise. We dehumanize others if we think they do not seem to grasp our superior opinions. We still demeaningly mock at others for speaking certain Languages considered funny to the ear, and even extrapolate that Language to impute backwardness of its speakers.
In this day and age, we still think just by hailing from some part of the Country, one does not qualify to be our leader in Politics. We still think simply because some eat certain types of meal, they are inferior to us.
Such state of the mind seems to be so difficult to change that even the most highly educated and elderly could be found stuck in and controlled by it, as reflected in their public utterances and other behaviors.
We have a long way to go, I am sorry to say. Nevertheless, we must be bold enough to point out those malicious attributes in anyone who doesn't seem to want to change for the better.
The Education of our young needs emphasis on helping them shed that state of mind before hitting adulthood and taking vital roles in our Communities.

There are many people with huge egos on this forum. I live in Europe where people don't care much about titles. I hear that is not so in the USA where everybody carries his academic titles before him (and after him) even with monikers.
My European sense of things tells me people like SAS, Okoampa, Bokor, Akadu, shouldn't really go about a forum like ghanaweb dragging their academic titles before/after them. It's ridiculous to some of us.
I've had occasion to discuss with SAS the use of his Dr title when many people with his qualification do not use it. His explanation was that he reserves the right to use or not to use it. Even if I am not entirely satisfied with that explanation, to me, that ends the matter especially since I also chose never to address him by the title "Dr" (not the others either).
BUT WHAT I WILL NEVER DO IS TO WRITE A LETTER TO HIS BOARD OR EMPLOYERS THAT SEEKS TO UNDERMINE HIM IN SOME WAY.
We just don't do such things.
The bottom line is: did Okoampa write such a letter?
We should address all our efforts to uncovering the truth and condemn him if he did so or the one telling lies against him.

I mistakenly thought that I taught him because of a mix-up in the dates and the number of students I tutored at that time. In any case, those students I have taught testify that I am a very good teacher and are never embarrassed of me.....Rather, it is with pride that they say, "Sarfo taught me English!"
