The "buga-buga" columnist and the so-claimed fake English teacher in the United States of America, Francis Kwarteng, has copied and pasted another nonsense on Ghanaweb.
See the beginning of paragraph 3, where
Kwarteng tried to use his own English without
copying, and I quote, " This is acknowledgement is instructive" unquote that is where you can bear with me that in all his articles he use to copy and paste from other writers and even that, he often amalgamates paragraphs and deviates from the main
caption of his article. He is therefore only
recycling nonsensically what has been
written by other people and thereby messing up realities to confusing readers.
Besides, he misuses space which could be used for other reasonable purposes.

It is one of the simplest essays I have yet written. I am surprised you are all complaining while he so beautifully summarizes the piece in 5 straightforward points.
Yes, it is about Dr. Dompere and all who have influenced his thinking. Again it is not necessarily about Nkrumah per se.
For more information, please go back and read Kojo T's re-reading of the article. Kojo T cleverly shows how simple and uncomplicated this piece is. He categrcally stated what this piece is about. I will not say more.
Thanks.

I hope those who could not grasp this simple essay to go ahead and read your your summary. It will help them greatly. You said it all all.
I hope they get straight that this is not necessarily about Nkrumah, like you said.
Thanks.

It is not grasping it, is the issue.
You go a long way to say things in simple terms.
You just want to show 'brofo.'!!
And that's a waste of time!!

May be he should read Jarque Barzun's "Simple And Direct" book on writing. I agree cassava farming will do him a lot of good, but he is stubborn and will not heed to your suggestion.

Kwawdo,
I have read some of Barzun's over works, including his "Simple and Direct." What he said in that book is nothing new to me. George Orwell and Joan Didion and others have said the same thing.
However, I have developed my own styles of writing (this is just one of them; I prefer this style over all the others). In the meantime, I am not the type to write because Barzun, Soyinka, Achebe, or Didion says so. I am not waek in the mind. I write the way I like, in a style I like.
Besides, I am not here to satisfy anyone's ego or reading interest. Read my piece if you like. Reject it if you don't.
A readers like you will not complain if this same piece had been about Busia or Danquah, neither of whose works piques me (I have read both and their works lack the kind of topical universality and scientific, mathematical, and philosophical depth I want to see in good and profound thinkers. In fact their works fall outside these scopes).
Interestingly, I have never found Busia, Danquah, and a few others intellectually challenging and engaging. Pardon me for my bluntness. It is probably because of my reading range! I have always preferred challenging and difficult writers.
Besides, don't forget I know your ideological affiliation. You only comment on my articles if it is about Nkrumah. I read your comments when they have to do with the Danquah/Busia and the NPP camp. You have never complained when a few authors write about your ideological camp in similar language.
As for Kojo T, I am surprised his 5-point summary gives away all that the essays says. He's not praising me. Any I don't need your validation.
And as for Atikopo#6, I have not directly responded to him because he can go back and read Kojo T's comments. And he should get it.
Finally, you should try listening to Chinua Achebe. He has a very good advice for writers (it may help you as well since some of you think there is only one way (linear) of writing. You should go back to my series "The Fate Of A Sick Scholar." This series should introduce you to most of the greatest writers in the world from the past century and read their works, then you will understand the vast array of styles, at least in the English world alone. Readers like have not seen anything yet).
Listen to Chinua Achebe here (he completely ignores the advice of writers such as Barzun, Orwell, etc). He says writers should be the judges of their own. I have been doing exactly this before I came across Achebe's advice in 2009.
Here is the link (listen to it and come back):
