When the VIP lounge was used as a cover to export drugs, the government should have been decent enough to accept responsibility, begin arresting the culprits and be seen to be putting the right rules in place to prevent it from happening again without being told. Logically, there is no fire without smoke and one plus one is two. Definitely, that Alhaji must have some links with people in authority, and the onus lies with the government to prove beyond reasonable doubt that it has nothing to do with the illicit drug business. Furthermore, the ex-NACOB Board Chairman said the VVIP Lounge was a market place.

This is not a recent development. This explains why drug barons and drug traffickers have contacts and influences in both NDC and NPP.

Excellent piece, Patricia,
Now that the British security agencies have Nayele's mobile phones and Sim cards, they probably now know the details of everybody who helped this lady or has done so the past, as she moved her cargo of death around the world.
Almost certainly her associates are quaking in their shoes. The Brits will get all of them one by one. If officialdom, including those in diplomatic circles are involved, they will al be unearthed at the right time.
It is good that she was arrested in the UK and not in Ghana. The only unfortunate fall-out is that unfortunate Ghanaian travellers will now be subjected to humiliating searches around Europe.

Ghanaians should not be described as commoners. It is okay for you to be commoners in the UK but don't describe us as commoners.

We cannot fight this battle depending on most of our politicians since it is clear there get kickbacks from there dealers.
Stand Up for Mother Ghana.

The Nayele Ametefeh cocaine saga is but the latest confirmation there is no moral compass but money worshipping in Ghana. This shame in plain sight has been so since the ideology that drove the parent party of modern day NPP to engage in military takeover of a CPP government under the guise of delusional freedoms, liberties and the pursuit of property and material riches. The town folks where Nayele hails from have known her not to have a real job and most in Ghana's political and educated elite class knows that much as well and yet but for the pursuit of the all consuming material riches she is allowed to rob elbows even if she is a first class ho and a disgrace to all things Ghana.
To my line of thinking not until we get off this property seeking society turkey ushered in by the NPP along with the steal while you can mentality of the NDC Ghana will continue to self destruct in our love of money at the expense of principles and moral compass.

Abeeku, how can you blame the overthrow of a dictator like Nkrumah as the cause of moral decadence in Ghana? Are you aware that corruption was rampant when Nkrumah ruled Ghana? Let us deal with drug trafficking ruthlessly and stop this idealogical waltz of yours . It helps no one. Drug smuggling could have happened under Nkrumah if had been in vogue at the time.

What is wrong with owning your home? Did you hear of JH Alhassani acquiring 11 houses with names from the cemetery? How about Krobo Edusei and his 32 houses? Didn't James Quartey and FY Asare and another go to prison for cheating farmers on cocoa spraying machines?
The original architects of the 1966 coup were Kotoka and Harlley. Afrifa only came in because he was Adjunct to Kotoka and also married to his cousin and a very brave young major for that matter. Were they really UP?
Distortion of facts in support of a bogus theory. The British authorities probably now have all of Nayele's accomplices. We shall soon know who the real greedy drug bastards are!

Shame on you mahama, see where you have led Ghana to???? Shame on you, I am very sad to be a Ghanaian. It s a shame our government is being entertained by the west. We are not fit to be among equals or civilized countries. It is 2 years now and this criminal man (Abortion Doctor) is still on the loose??? come on Mahama, the fact that we can allow our presidential lounge to be used as a trading hub for cocaine traffickers does not mean we cannot exercise our moral duty to even prosecute the criminals and evil doers in our society. I beg the west to shun association with our leaders. They are no good. The people are angry about the continues injustice in our society. People do not have to demonstrate before the world hear their cries. When it comes to cocaine, the president quickly intervened, what about the millions of criminals in our society? Do you think the doctor will be walking free if he did such terrible things to the president's daughter? Ghanaians come on,,, start asking theses questions??? Stop following idiots like Obinim, TB Joshua and start engaging your minds. The wise and intelligent whiteman cannot do everything for you....! Start cleaning your mess. Stop expecting miracles from TB Joshua. Sack your education minister etc and get an intelligent person who can bring in reforms into our education system. With all the thousand schools in Ghana, we still cannot think critically. We don't even have the ability to produce condoms, let alone water and electricity. Wake up.
They are all the same.
