Paul, please watch REAL SPORTS On HBO concerning how Quatar treats its migrant workers before you start spewing this garbage. If Quatar is our salvation, then we are in trouble indeed.

Prof. Lungu are you a prophet of doom? Ghana can surely learn how Qatar have been able to use proceeds from its abundant gas reserves to improve the lives of its citizenry. I was in Qatar for the first time in 2003 and also in 2013, the level of infrastructural development and transformation was breathtaking and we can learn a great deal from that commitment to investment in public infrastructure. Your take?

We cannot compare Ghana to Afghanistan and proclaim Ghana is better!
How Qatar treats its average citizens, its women, its immigrant workers, how Qatar assists other less developed countries today, in this age, ought to be important indicators, if we must select "county-partners", including establishing and maintaining embassies of the people.
How Qatar deals with other countries and enables a peaceful and just international order without bias of religion, ought to be another important consideration!
Social and wrong-headed religious transformations can wreak a nation and all its shinny buildings, if they have any. The record today shows that Qatar has been promoting and enabling those types of wrong-headed "transformations."
Ghana ought to be able to do better!

Unnecessary demonstrations. TUC in Ghana has turned itself into a political party always working against the Government.
The President is doing all he can to address these difficult issues. We need to work with him to tackle the problems we have in Ghana. Ghana is in bad shape due to the fact that, families have so many children without planning. Poor men in Ghana go around marrying many wives, knowing very well they do not have the means to support these kids .These same people will go around looking for hand out from the government. They try to steal to make ends meet. Bribery and corruption set in. Ghanaians will then blame the government for not helping them.
Large family system was in Ghana before Mahama came into power. We can not blame all our failures on him. We need to work with the man to tackle these issues.
At least he is doing all he can to help. He need our support.
Long live peace in Ghana
