I remember back in 1963 when DICTATOR Kwame Nkrumah made his DAWN SPEECH on the Radio in Ghana bout the price the
Western Countries were prepared to pay Ghana for her COCOA.
KWAME NKRUMAH used a very derogatory language on the WEST; describing them as DEVIL, EVIL AND INHUMANS.
I am sure the message was loudly received by them in both TWI and ENGLISH.
At the time , Ghana was the leading Producer of COCOA and any Foreign hocolate Producer should at least have
TEN PER CENT of Ghana Cocoa.
The Foreign Cocoa buyers started buying synthetic ones from South America and ASIA. Fortunately or unfortunately, their consumers couldn't detect any difference so they got away with it.
I am only letting you know that in mst Political Language, you cannot eschew Insults from its dimension. It is part of the flavour or the ingrained stimulus to make it a good taste.
So please, don't try to worry about how Insults have dominated our Political Culture.
