Even my last holidays in US-Capital (Washington DC) where leaving condition is high, you do not need $35.00 to spend in a day if you are as wise as I am. Breakfast may cost you less than $7.00 whilst lunch may cost close to $9.00. With dinner, unless you are a 350lb weight individual which you may spend close to $16.00. In the nutshell, we are talking about Brazil, whose economy and leaving condition is below that of Washington DC.

I can have a nice breakfast at Ihop for ten dollars, lunch for seven dollars and dinner at Red lobster and still have a balance of at least $5 but these supporters were not eating at restaurants, they were eating food prepared for a group of at least 600 people.
$35 grocery in USA can feed me as individual for at least four days and feeding a group in Brazil with food prepared by caterers shouldn't cost more than $10.

After the news broke out that the Ghanaian supporters are stranded in brazil, Afriyie Ankrah chartered another flight led by Adu Asare with some supporters union and some Nima guys to brasilia. They could not make it to the game because they only have less than 24hrs before they embark from Ghana and the plane was on transit in more than 3 places for refuelling hence they couldn't make it on time to the last game against Portugal. They checked in brasilia hotel and they couldn't cook in the hotel because there was no prior arrangement with the hotel to use a kitchen therefore Afriyie Ankrah brought a bag with dollars which was given out for their well being to shut up the stranded Ghanaians who are complaining. This is another ploy of Afriyie Ankrah to waste taxpayers money.
