Second, why do you guys always make democratic comparisons with that of UK and USA? I thought you were going to compare with that of Singapore which attained independence way after Ghana but has one in six of its population as millionaires. Singapore couldn't have reached there with people like PPP, NDC and NPP top executives who are always thinking about themselves and not the country.
Richard, I wish you could write a better articles outlining better measures to improve the lot of Ghanaians instead of recycling Nduoms' rhetoric, thus: 1. separation of the office of the minister of justice from that of the Attorney General and 2.direct election of MMDCE’s. These measures are nothing new and I'm afraid this is another ordinariness and falsehood exhibited by the PPP. Just wait, Nduom will soon retire from active politics and we will see where the PPP goes. Take care, my brother.

Ndoum claims he is from the Nkrumaist tradition but he has lost his way lately because of his unbridled ambition for power. He is also confused as to whether he believes in social justice any more because of his wealth which might have distorted his socialist credentials as a former CPP and Nkrumaist.
We wish he could discard his new found excessive market agenda for the sake of the ordinary man and return to his social justice background and help with the equitable distribution of the national wealth. The fact that he has split the Nkrumaist camp make him a mole of the political right agenda.he is a lost soul.

Brother Ben, Nduom has NEVER mentioned Nkrumah in his speech (private or public). He doesn't believe in Nkrumaism. He thought he could achieve his political ambition via a CPP train. That is why he fell out of tune and had to run out of the Nkrumaiast party (CPP). I challenge anyone reading this to identify a speech where Nduom mentions Nkrumah or gave him credit. Nduom is NOT an Nkrumaist, period.

Yes, there is a need for a third force in Ghana politics. In addition to the Nkrumahist tradition and the Dankwah-Busia-Dombo traction, the latter representing the right leaning/conservative tradition, and the former representing the left leaning/progressive tradition - the property owning class versus the common masses of Ghanaians translated into the two party systems we have in Ghana.
There is a need right now for a strong, well organized, all inclusive, anti-corruption party that will sustainably pursue the interests of Ghanaians. Genuinely, seeing to it that all our resources are well protected and used, pushing for sane energy policies and environmentally friendly development.

CPP ,NDC , PPP , GCPP , PNC,PNDC ,PNP are the socialist / Communist block or parties of this country and they have ruled this country for over forty years of our independence . The UP tradition , liberal democrats and capitalists have only ruled for only ten years and the country saw the achievement of Kufour in 8 years after 19 years of PNDC /NDC rule . Ghanaians give NPP another try and you will see the heights you will reach.
