It is not how popular a candidat is but how electable that candidate is. People love Alan because he is likeable. Nana Akuffo Addo is likealy to loose 2016 as well because the way people feel about him has not changed much. Npp should remember that majority of Ghanaian voters do not vote based on economic hardships. We vote based on party affiliation, ethnic sentiments, and physical appeal of the candidate. Mahama has showed that the elections can be won one touch by a first time candidate with only 3 months. Alan will also win it one touch as a first time candidate. Alan has the attributes majority of Ghanaians want their president to have and they will vote for him. If NPP really want power in 2016 then they should go for Alan or forget it.
