"Well, the flappy political hips of Mr. Politics are anatomically balanced out by the sensual ideology of gastric and rump protrusions. What does this say of the deceptive attractiveness of Ghanaian politics? The strangeness of nature. But where do we begin telling the story of the two-headed snake, two callous heads on opposite ends of the snake’s sinuate length? The strange story of the two-headed snake in question is the shameful story of the NPP and the NDC!"
This said it all. You couldn't have captured the situation Ghana finds herself in better than the two-headed snake analogy.
Ghana, for all intents and purposes finds herself caught between a rock and a hard place.
On one end of this quagmire is the corrupt, clueless and the ethnocentric thieving brigade of the NDC while on the other end is the NPP:
As for the NPP, they are so tyrannical in their approach to things that Ghana will be turned into a free state of hooliganism. The country will be turned upside down. There will be no law and order anywhere. Armed robbery and associated vices will gain more prominence than what we're seeing now.
Just look at them now - infighting, petty jealousies, hooliganism, bribery and corruption, intimidation, tribalism and drugs. This party looks more frightening than the Italian Mafia.
So either way, Ghana is in for a rough ride for a long time. Ghana is the ping pong ball in a table tennis game between these two unworthy parties.
I just wish that somewhere in the constitution, there was a provision made to allow for the disqualification of any party that shows these crassy behaviours which are very detrimental to the welfare of the nation. Then these two parties will find themselves on the sidelines during the elections and give the lesser known parties the opportunity to showcase what they can offer Ghana as alternatives.
GHANA REALLY DOESN'T NEED THOSE TWO POMPOUS PARTIES. THEY DON'T DESERVE TO RULE GHANA. GHANA AS A NATION, IS WAY ABOVE THEM AND DESERVES BETTER IF NOT THE BEST.
So Francis, in my view, Ghana is really dealing with a dangerous two-headed snake in the form of these two parties, as you aptly put in your piece.
Good job, Francis... keep on hammering them with your well-though-out write ups.

I asked in the 14th paragraph:
"Is it not high time the people gave another political party a chance at governance?"
And in the last but paragraph I gave a clue as to which this third party might be:
"And let the CPP be the mediating hand of moral wisdom."
I hope these two settle it.
Thanks.

What I wrote was my take on your suggestion of giving another party a chance at governance, except that I did not specify which party.
I just wanted to 'cement' that idea

As a matter of fact, my piece with the exception of the quote from you, was part of my comments to an article by the "Al Hajj" newspaper: "ADB:Create, Loot, Share and Grab at play" in the 'OPINION' section here. You can check it out. It was a very eye-opening article.
So when I read your piece and saw that that both you and I almost had the same 'vision', I decided to transpose it over here word for word to support you in a sense.
We were thinking along the same lines so in sense, I felt vindicated that I wasn't the only one thinking forward and being 'too known' as some folks will put it.
So you can rest assured that I did not miss any portion of your brilliant piece.

Yes, truth and lies are juxtaposed like the two conjoined sides of a coin. They are difficult to separate or discern but with wisdom you can tell who is a liar. Sin and righteousness, good and bad, man and woman, and all opposites of life lie side by side like Siamese twins, like Newton and Einstein on the one hand, and Newton and Verlinde on the other hand. It depends on relative time dimensions, axiomatic and dogmatic postulates etc. Francis' creational satire buds. A polymath.

I think Kwarteng should tone down a little bit for the Adwoa Wangaras and more forumers to get the grasp, the gist and the drift of his essays to avoid the insults. Some of the words are more scientific and may be beyond the comprehension of even some forumers with English majors. I believe this new series could have a very significant change in the voting pattern of most Ghanaians, especially Trokosis who don't know anything apart from the NDC.

As far as I'm concerned there are two major political ideologies, capitalism and socialism. Like everything that's inspired from human thoughts and concepts, none of the two is perfect but I'm convinced there's not much conceptually evil about these two ideologies. What's wrong, I believe, derives from the inherent wicked and devious nature of man. The only way we can make both ideologies work for the good of all is the ratification and solemnization of the Golden Rule, which we love to theorize but treat with contempt in practice. If all Ghanaians would be treated equally before the law and would be enabled to operate and perform on a level playing field of equal opportunities and equal rights then successes and failures would be dependent to a large extent on individual effort and ability.
Right now both systems are skewed to favor certain groups of people. In Ghana, we need to pass anti-discrimination laws and strengthen our state institutions, making them truly independent to perform their duties without fear or favor.
We have to uphold the rule of law and order and make transparency, probity and accountability living realities of everyday life.
No one should be seen as being above the law, from the President to the man in the street. Our Ethics Law must be reviewed and we must never again turn the blind eye to nepotism, cronyism and conflict of interest. These should be punishable by law.
Our collective prosperity lies in our own hands. If we can do away with laziness and narrow-mindedness and bring ourselves to visualize the bigger picture then we'd have planted our feet firmly on the threshold of prosperity.
We have to be a nation that shows gratitude to its patriots and heroes regardless of political and tribal affiliation, and a nation that rewards hard work, industry, ingenuity and innovation as against the prevalent practice of hiring the incompetent and reshuffling and promotion of lazy and mediocre performers.
There's beauty in diversity. We should not be at each others throat but sustain and promote one another. These ideals can be achieved with a selfless and transformational leadership.

Some people are so hideously set in their tribalistic ways that it will take a very herculean effort on the part of every single Ghanaian to make them realize that it doesn't pay to be so ethnocentrically divisive and that we are all in this together as fellow Ghanaians and that we either swim together or we will all sink together.
A word to the wise, it said, is enough.
So listen good, "Kweku Bonsam" aka Kojo Tamakloe. Change your evil ways of tribalism. Try and cut that devilish 'tribalistic umbilical' cord to "nyebroism" and cast your eyes wide for the bigger picture instead of your myopic views centered along tribal lines.
If you claim to be a Pan Africanist, then prove it by your actions and not just lip service, Kojo Tamakloe.
Kwame Nkrumah's deeds and actions showed he was the real deal and not a fake copycat.
