Figure that Akufo Addo becomes president (and Insha Allah it shall happen) with an able lieutenant like Bawumia at his side, even for one term, it shall increasingly be difficult for he Kyerematen to overtake Bawumia for 2020 or 2024. And he can't afford 2020 or 2024, for at that time the same "old age" nonsense he is pestering Nana Addo will come to haunt him.
HJe instinctively thinks, and rightly so that Nana Addo might just go only one term and cede to Bawumia to carry NPP into 2020 or 2024, and this is what is keeping Kyerematen wide awake at night. It is not Nana Addo he is worried about, it is Bawumia and he wants to nib the rise of that great man in the bud before he has developed full wings.
Kyerematten must know one thing, his call to Nana Addo to step down for him is what we call "kwasea suu". It is not going to happen. Why is he not making the same call to the other contestants. Why does he want the flagbearership on a silver platter? Kwasea suu.

Professor Okoampa, do you really want Nana Akuffo Addo to win the Presidency? I have listened to radio comments on Oman Ghana talk show that emanates from London and on Adom FM and the way these Akyems castigates Asantes as if they are responsible for the two previous Nana's defeats is regrettable.
Nana in 2008 and 2012 received about 75 percent of all votes cast in Ashanti region. Compare that to even the votes Nana received in Akyem constituencies in Eastern region and it was less than 65 percent.
I am a staunch Nana's supporter and believes he would turn out to be the best President Ghana ever had if we can bury this animosity existing between the militant Akyems and Asantes. Okoampa, if Nana lost the 2016 election, the Akyems should take the blame because listening to them if you are an Asante Akuffo Addo supporter will not give you any impetus to campaign or go and vote for him because it is like committing suicide if you are an Asante.
Please in the name of unity and to get Nana the Presidency because he deserves to be, let's be careful of our utterances. We need every vote from Npp and more to give Nana the Presidency but you are not helping with your articles and comments. A word to the wise is in?

What is happening in Ghana today is really terrible. Mahama is a huge disappointment even to the rank and file of NDC supporters. But Ghanaians know that NPP, as it currently is, is no answer to their problems. Akufo-Addo is not and CANNOT be the answer to our problems. Kyeremateng will even be worse.
NDC is a govt that is very beneficial to a clique of people. NPP will also form a govt that will be beneficial to another clique of people. Both major parties are just deceiving the people. NDC is raw in its deception, NPP is more sly in doing the same thing and far better at hiding the loot they make when they are in govt.
The only thing that can save Ghana is a govt that is not made up of the same people in NDC or NPP who already know how to steal, lie and cheat us all.
Mahama is not doing well but Akufo-Addo will not be the answer. Some people are saying Akufo will be a lesser evil than Mahama. Just the way the NPP is fighting and struggling for power within its own ranks is a pointer to what they are going to do when in power. It won't be nice.
People like Okoampa, Sarpong, Adofo and Oyokoba, less frequently these days, are just being naive about Akufo-NPP being a much better alternative than Mahama.
I will return to Ghana in 2016 to vote. I will wait until that time to decide who to vote for. Right now, neither Mahama nor Akufo will get my vote.

I don't know who you are referring to as hypocrite but I am not one. I have battled for Nana Akuffo Addo both in this forum with Nana haters like the coward who calls himself OKATAKYIE and at the Elephant Patriots forum where he and myself were suspended from posting any comments for two weeks for engaging in verbal combat for our candidates.
My brother, you are seriously not helping Nana Addo. Politics is a game of numbers, and I mean trying to get more people to your side. You are rather subtracting numbers from Nana Akuffo Addo. Please. I am beggingyou and other Akuffo Addo ssupporters who are making Nana Akuffo Addo unattractive politically to support to stop it.
I have only one article this nomination period extolling why Nana ought to be nominated without condemning any of the other candidates because after the nomination which Nana will win hands down, we are going to need the other candidates support to kick useless Mahama out of office and you don't want to say something bad about the other candidates that will make it hard for them to forgive.
