The churches protect the interest of imperialism and neocolonialism since in the first place their are not traditional African religions but Abram religions which are foreign to Ghana.
Those of us who started schooling before independence are well aware that the churches were oppressing and suppressing African Culture and had we not had independence by now all traditional dances would have been declared a crime by the church. The Abram churches opposed our struggle for self determination and independence.
The fact also remains that the majority of unruly Ghanaians who float all laws, including sanitation laws are Christians. So from this what are those of us who are not believers learning from them
There is a history of the Abram churches supporting all forms of socioeconomic oppression of which apartheid and neocolonialism are on our mind and still remain.
The Abraham churches does not also instill patriotism in the African.
