It is inconceivable and shamefully unfortunate that this so-called Ministerial Secretary is incapable of analyzing the root causes of these insanitary conditions in Accra and the country as a whole. This underscores the widespread perception that this government has no clue as to its responsibilities other than its exceptional proficiency in thievery.

Those people defacate in open spaces because they are primitive fools including the Ministers who pocket the monies and ride in 4x4 Vehicles instead of infrastructure for the people.

It is unimaginable that as we speak, open drains are still being constructed in this modern day and age in Ghana. City authorities and town planners in Ghana can simply not think!!

Such write has not been the first in our history. Okoampa has done well to add his voice. The first I read was some twenty five years ago in the Mirror. All Jerry Rawlings did was to go to Cape Coast and insult the chiefs that even cats don't defecate in the open. If Ghanaians could recall, that almost cost him the election against Adu Boahene. We all know indiscipline is rife because of votes. All politicians are scared to lose votes of course, hence the inability to put things in order including sanitation.
As we are all aware, it is the constituency chairmen who operate public toilets, so the assemblies will never ever cooperate to have toilets in every house. After all, if there is a toilet in every house, who will patronise theirs. It is the same monies that are used for election campaign by both NDC and NPP. If JJ could not do it in 19 years, Kufuor could have done it in less than 8!!
