Ghana as a whole is sitting on a time bomb regarding lack of sanitation in our cities and towns because we lack the proper institutions and proactive leaders. There is urgent need to revamp our waste management systems and deploy sizeable manpower and equipment to deal with this health menace and hazard. Zoom Lion is not a competent organisation. They lack equipment and know-how and are pretenders. How can we promote tourism with this state of affairs in our cities and towns? The local government system currently in place is dysfunctional and has failed us miserably. We need to re-introduce the 'tankase' system and PWD to oversee this malaise.

It will elicit, I'm afraid to say, just a handful of comments. People's interest are in politics and football, not in how to solve our waste problem.
We create our sanitation, waste and health problems and then expect the government to solve them for us. We have to find a way to deal with our health, waste, and sanitation problems which we consciously or unconsciously create each nanosecond for others and ourselves.
I just pray each day to the Almighty that we don't contact cholera, diphtheria, hepatitis E, and other contagious diseases.
Personal responsibility is none existent, for the most part in our country. How do we find a way to defuse the time bomb, Mr. Donsuro?

Korle Bu is overflowing with referred cholera cases and has asked that no more cholera patients be sent to them.
MDG's indeed!
