Yeah, a contributory factor to the soaring national debt is the unsustainable salaries awarded civil servants via the Single Spine Salary System. It is also the cause of the runaway inflation and the cedi depreciation.

Kwasi, this is so beautiful. Well done. I just like to point out that
99 percent of Ghanaians are extremely stupid and are not ready to hold the government accountable for the loans they keep taking.Forget all the big english and economics etc etc. The problem in Ghana boils down to poor governance and corruption. We hear of Asante Hene buying mansiond=s in London, we hear of Gold being lifted out of Ghana from airstrips in Obuasi, we hear of Woyome dancing with Ghana money and on and on and on. This is not an economic problem, what we have hear is a self infested Ebola. Intelligent ones like yourself try hard to translate our problems using economics but the truth is that Corruption is the cause. America is returning millions of dollars Abacha stole while in office. Do you consider that a demand and supply issue? I dont think so. It is bad governance, corruption, lack of leadership and plain religious lunacy. We are not thinking in Ghana. We even owe money for the oil we discovered. What sort of economics is that? You have government buying pampas for school children, you have prostitutes, drug barons and illiterates in the organs of government and you think it is ECONOMICS. You are such an intelligent young man who writes so well but please lets focus on the cancer destroying our nation. It is easy to use economic Jargons like "interest, loans, IMF, GDP etc" but that is just verbose. We need to use words like CORRUPTION, ACCOUNTABILITY, LEADERSHIP AND GOVERNANCE. I am illiterate but i am sure i hit the nail on the head. You are very smart but unfortunately you lack depth in the situation of affairs in Ghana. God bless you and May the same God chastise those criminals destroying my dear country. I pray to God to make them mad and condemn them to damnation.

Attention Please,
This is to announce to the General public about a genuine lender online that helped me when i was in financial difficulties. I am Mrs Giselle Dawn living in Virginia, Manassas, USA. I was stuck in a financial situation and i needed to refinance my business and also to buy a home. I tried seeking loans from various loan firms both private and corporate but never with success, and most banks declined my credit. But as God would have it, i was introduced to a private loan lender by names Mr. Crist Luis who gave me a loan of $500,000USD and today my business has improved and I'm now a owner of a home. So, I'm here to let you know that if you must contact any firm with reference in getting a loan with low interest rate of 2% and better repayment plans and schedule, please contact Mr.Crist Luis. He doesn't know that I'm doing this but i will like others to know that there are still some good persons out there who is still willing to assist those in financial difficulties so i decided to let people know more about him. You can contact him through his email at {cristluisloanservices@outlook.com} to get a genuine loan offer today.
